Maher thinks the black guy is entitled to full government support because of a 'legacy' that might link him to injustices that happened a couple of hundred years ago.

Alex Pelosi came across as a pretty intelligent woman. She identified the problem with entitlement mentality, but it didn't pierce her liberal armor. She mentioned that the dems are losing voters and used the example of service industry workers voting for republicans. Yet, she talks in the collective of "we liberals".

I would be curious to hear her views on why she is liberal and what it is she believes in about their agenda and their goal for America.

I think what she revealed is the constant struggle for political market share by (D) and (R) and how neither established elite is doing any good for the country or the people.

One of the upsides to the flood of immigrants is the many peoples from Africa who have come to the DC metro area lately. Generally speaking, they are very nice people and good neighbors, without all the attitude you get from many African-Americans. The recent immigrants are happy to be here for the positive values of America.

Funny, one of my close African-American friends says she "can't stand those people from Africa." But despite my repeated questions (I am white), she won't say why. LOL!
