The video of Bill O'Reilly blowing off Sheriff Joe Arpaio's 6 month investigation was incredible.

Now we have "journalists" who think they know more about investigating than trained detectives who have determined probable cause exists that an image of a document and a document involving the President were forged. Bill would like us to believe that he has ignored Sheriff Joe's investigation because the Sheriff did not provide any hard evidence and he is too busy.
Well if he is too busy to look into it, how did he know that the sheriff did not provide any evidence?
Bill O'Reilly has concluded after his "investigation", that the possibility of two newspaper announcements of Obama's birth is remote and therefore there is no reason to look any further into the matter.
Excuse me, isn't the biggest problem we have with politicians is their obfuscating the truth? And isn't what journalists spend most of their time doing is holding government officials accountable?
Now either Bill O'Reilly is being completely dishonest or he is just stupid. No one in his position could be that stupid so he is basically calling Joe Arpaio a liar.
Its time to put an end to this. The courts, the congress, the media and government people have all gone out of their way to break all their oaths, the laws and their responsibilities.
Please call Sheriff Joe and ask him to call Bill O'Reilly for our sake, not for himself but for the people. No one here is going to get through to the media, the congress or anyone else. Sheriff Joe is the only one who can call Bill O'Reilly and get a return phone call. Bill O'Reilly has insulted the Sheriff's investigators publicly. Bill owes the Sheriff a rebuttal. Bill needs to be fair and balanced. And only Sheriff Joe can make that happen.
If Bill O'Reilly wasn't so busy investigating stories like that tart who spends 3,000 dollars on contraceptives, he would have learned years ago that the newspaper announcements mean NOTHING.
BTW Bill, Harvard is in MA not CT and Daddy was back in Kenya for years when little Barack got his CT ssn. Your investigating skills suck. Also SSA decided to scramble those numbers right after it was revealed that Obama has a CT ssn so people can't determine where they are issued anymore. See if you can figure that one out.
Bill, if you were given orders not to talk about the issue, quit lying about it and shut up. You are an embarrassment to investigative journalists. Its one thing to lie about something but its another thing to lie about someone else to promote your lies. The only thing you are looking out for is your own job.

Glenn Back takes the same position on newspaper announcements — he thinks it means Obama has to have been born in Hawaii.
He uses his show now to ridicule Arpaio and his ‘posse’.
As for O’Reilly, if it won’t boost his ratings, he won’t touch it. So if he does publicize this story it’ll be to ridicule Arpaio and his backers, since he will have concluded in advance that taking the opposite position to Arpaio would be good for ratings.
But now the evidence is so overwhelming it is persuasive to anyone willing to take a look with objectivity in mind.

I think that’s a great idea. I think Greta has had her eyes opened in the last few years, perhaps because of her friendship with Sarah. If I had to trust someone at Fox, it would be Greta.
Somehow, I don't she'll go there either. A shame - this could be the biggest story ever if pursued by a credible journalist (if there are any out there). Just because he's the first "black" president, doesn't give him the right to put one over on the American people.
Bullsh*t. I watched Sheriff Joe's press conference. It was heavy on allegations and light on actual evidence. Nonetheless, Arpaio is a duly-elected law enforcer, not Orly Taitz. If he has evidence of a crime, he needs to do something about it. If he doesn't, then he was just blowing smoke.
Get Obama arrested and convicted and I'll admit I was wrong the whole time.

And ask him to have the POSSE ask Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid if they saw a birth certificate when they certified Obama’s eligibility. And why did they send a separate version of the eligibility certification letter to Hawaii? Were they aware that there might be a problem? What did they know and when did they know it.
You are correct in that anyone can get a birth announcement placed in the paper. Happens everyday where I’m from. In NJ, where they are corrupt to the core, I can post anything I want. Sometimes you don’t have to pay.
We had a call in numbers for men’s league softball(and other sports). We would call in the score and give some details. It was all printed in the major newspaper the next morning. We would sometimes give some names of ficticious people or some lesser players as having done well. it would be printed without question. For laughs we gave scores and stats for games that never occurred. We would have a ball at their expense. The A C Press is not the biggest paper but it is not small town either.
Call in a birth announcement for a William O’Reilly then fax him a copy of the paper.
Better yet, call Sheriff Joe and ask him when he will begin a criminal investigation on Obama or was this just all a publicity stunt to help his buddy sell some books?
Why not? That would at least put to rest the issue of whether or not anyone can simply phone in a birth announcement.

Your question was insincere. It was already addressed in the press conference (which was pointed out), so if it really matters beyond that, this is not the place to be asking what happens next, unless Sheriff Joe is a member and posts here.
Sheriff Joe Arpaio was elected to enforce the law. That is his job. If he has solid evidence of criminal wrongdoing, he needs to do something about it. If not, he is derelict in his duties and needs to be removed from office and replaced by someone who will uphold law and order.
If I was a betting man, my money would say Sheriff Joe ain't gonna do a damned thing because he knows he doesn't have any real evidence, only allegations, and this was nothing more than a publicity stunt to please a group of constituents.
Honestly, I'd love to be proven wrong on this but I doubt I will be.
