Leftists? How tortured is it to be one?
Isn’t it an exercise of investigative analysis given one phrase to ponder the life of many liberals—the life of all “prominent” liberals, wherein they must to go to bed every night stressed over how they will continue the lie? They seem to have little trouble keeping up with the meme and the non-geometric web they spin, although some make fools of themselves and show us all what hypocrisy looks like in its purest, naked form of attribution. Maybe it is harder than we think. Sadly, the people who live in the swamp of mindless leftist elitism have infested our institutions. And little Johnny can’t hardly read while little Janie can’t hardly think.
Billy is speaking and writing a little—and getting paid for it! He can wallow in words to describe an educational philosophy that is whatever he wants it to be—has been ineffective and off the ground while children suffer and do not learn. What profitable fun is there to rail against anything older than last year’s wine and get paid for proselytizing a leftist point of view! Nevertheless, he has to work to keep it going so that he receives a goodly portion of what he considers evil at its core—dollars that have been originated by capitalism. Every dollar in our economy began with someone buying and selling. Heh. Nevertheless, Baal must be served by the faithful!
He has recently said he was not a domestic terrorist—I buy that much regarding his present—but he was—oh yes. At one time, he was very much a little radical who played with rhetoric and bombs. He swarmed with other worthless college kids in his day—protesting a war and an “unfair” economic system, he says. Okay. The only evidence he has grown up is the fact that he managed to become a paid employee and stopped making bombs—a good first step.
He is in his sixties now and still carries the message of collectivism, the most devastating and murderous economic philosophy man has ever been known to embrace. Heh. That doesn’t seem to be an intelligent place to be at all. He gets by because the left has made the claim that it is intelligent. That’s all they have—a claim. People know that when it comes to leaders of a collectivist movement, it is always the leaders who are enriched while the rest of us have less of an opportunity, don’t they? In more words, when socialism has been jockeyed, sold, or forced onto a people, fewer people have any sort of opportunity to succeed. Fewer still occupy a position where vacations to Spain, Hawaii, Aspen, and countless high dollar dinners, theaters, shopping trips, shows, concerts, or parties—to count a few advantages of being on top of the collectivist heap—become their entitlement as “leaders.” Trying to do any one of those things as a member of the fertilized recipient class is the same as trying to reach the moon on a bicycle.
I think about what it must be like to be in the place of a Randi Rhodes, Barack Obama, itty bitty Tom Harthman, every democratic member of the house and senate, and many others who contaminate our airwaves and public discourse—how about a Nancy Pelosi?—and I wonder how they’ve managed to live so many years yet learned so little about life. She is one who has never found fault with the latest way someone has found to legislatively or otherwise make certain any baby can be killed without consequence or conscience—at least the movers and shakers consciences. The lie is compounded by their telling us that it is we who are out of touch, evil, against women, etc. etc. One example is that if we believe that there is such a thing as personal responsibility in most cases of unwanted pregnancy and that babies in those cases should not be put to death for offenses they did not commit, we are accused of being Nazis not simply people who oppose killing innocence. She says she is Catholic.
The media mini-minds are trying to bombard us too—whether using the daily subtle methods of messaging or if you’re on MSNBC or something called Current TV, where they’re not skilled enough to make subtle delivery—we hear how ignorant we are. That is a good thing since they expose their outrageous, smarmy, pronouncements and we clearly see them for what they are—that’s why we don’t bother watching them. Media babies tell us what to think by laughing at anyone who does not think as they do—now don’t they have to work hard to continue the lie? Bless their hearts if you can find it through the hard shell. Some don’t laugh, some just hate. They “report” what is happening and how we should make sense of what is happening from mouths that move incessantly, guided by minds that have accepted a large ewww factor and stopped working when they sat in classes at a journalism school. Built on lies, they work hard to continue the would be over-arching trajectory of awful social and government “protections.”
A few years ago, I wrote a piece on the psychology of the left. Nothing has changed. Leftists are still stuck in a place where misery and hatefulness fuel their daily ability to get up and go. It was a hideous place for me to visit and I got out of that study as quickly as I could. Leftists find it a place of comfort and ease I suppose. Sadly, many of the electorate don’t have the time or inclination to study the left much at all and so vote the way they do. We get stuck with Obama and pay more for gas and cigarettes. Farmers in California get stuck with bushels and bushels of no product because they are not allowed the water to irrigate. Families who used to have their young girls join the Girl Scouts have to re-think whether the indoctrination is sufficiently small enough to weigh and toss, for their precious to enjoy the good things the scouts do. We all remain contributors to Middle East countries because we’re not allowed to use our own resources. We’re all subject to not being allowed much and we take it. It kind of makes one wonder if the left hasn’t been very successful in their efforts to take us with them into that place of darkness. They have been successful because we let them. Heh… it ain’t funny at all. There’s no fun in the house. Is it not time for more of us to refuse to comply? I think so, from the depths of my heart and mind I think so! Take that Holder! Turn and wretch endlessly in your sleep until you become an honest man!
We need to fire them. Figuratively speaking, it would be good to release them from the burden of the lie. We could choose to not buy from sponsors that pay for their words—written or spoken—that sound that emits through pursed lips as they struggle to put together complete sentences to explain how much we are wrong about everything. If times were much better, we may even find them hilarious as a good source of comedy watching these retches twist and turn, jump as they go about defending the lie. Maybe, just maybe, some of them would stop lying. The left has been ruinous to our economy, our churches, our families, our work—our freedoms.
Only in America, the most tolerant country in the world, have we let the most intolerant people run most things. The pull and push of left versus right has been with us for decades. For the present, an excellent bit of action is to go ahead and vote against Obama and his minions vying for congressional seats. It won’t hurt at all to pull the lever for people who aren’t socialists and doing that just might begin the healing process for our nation. Don’t we need to grasp and hold onto a little bit of freedom?
I know people who are leftists, and they are not politicians. Some are in my family. They like obama, and they believe everyone should have healthcare. They think gays should have the right to marry, and they feel bad that they can’t.
To keep peace in the family during holidays, you can’t talk politics. My mother used to get upset at the arguments and asked us not to discuss politics anymore. We honor her wishes.

Leftists become leftists because they are snobs at heart, they choose liberalism because they have been told it makes them morally and intellectualy superior. That superiority is what they want. They are also busybodies, forcing their ideas on others feeds their egos.
The trouble begins when bits of reality start to seep into their awareness. I once had a lib blurt out “My beliefs are more important to me than the truth!” This, after I had backed him into an intellectual corner.
It’s all about that illusion of superiority, a superiority gained the easiest way possible, they have simply declared it to be so. Why else would they so eagerly self label themselves the “elites”?
Leftists are living in the past. Their dreams of socialist utopia have been abandoned by most of the World. They haven’t learned a thing in the last 40 years.
Liberalism is often simply a way to justify a personal vice. This is an iron law among intellectuals. See Paul Johnson’s book, “Intellectuals,” or E. Michael Jones’, “Degenerate Moderns.”
Among individuals, this is also true. But in my personal interaction with liberals, I’ve also noticed “security liberals,” mainly single or divorced mothers, and traditional Democrats, like Massachusetts Catholic “Kennedy” Democrats.
It’s hard to get inside their heads, because they’re rarely coherent. And I’ve often encountered what I call “stopthink,” where, when headed toward a logical, but unwanted conclusion, liberals will bug-out of an argument.
They are not servants of truth. And we know who Truth is.
I got into an argument with a lifelong friend over obamacare several years ago. We went to high school and college together, and we meet several times a year for lunch. We haven't had lunch since.
During that lunch I offered to send e-mails with the true facts of obamacare. I was told not to because they would not be opened.

This explains the frustrating phenomenon of liberal Christians. They will follow the truth, until it’s not convenient.
I recently heard a talk-radio caller describe herself as, “I’m not one of those die-hard Catholics.” She was pro-contraception/premarital sex.
Of course, if she was intellectually honest, she would seek another church. But she wasn’t THAT interested in pursuing her understanding of truth. She was content in her indifference.
Jesus had very harsh words for those indifferent to Him/Truth.

Profound comments and the R O O T of the issue with one small exception. Satan’s lie was “you shall not die”. Every lie and half truth collectivists, leftists, socialists, communists, atheists, and facists, cling to, has the usurpation of the power of God at its root, as did the Father of Lies himself.
Why else would such a powerful individual be cast out of heaven to stand here as the example of darkness and evil in contrast to the Son of God who is light and truth personified and whose mission, the salvation of mankind also stands in stark contrast to that of the evil one.
At the risk of being repetitive, it is social snobbery that keeps them going. The drug of believing yourself superior to the rest of mankind without having to do anything to prove it.
When you’re surrounded by other left-thinking people, it is really really hard to have the social courage to doubt or disagree. You’ll be ejected from the herd and youi know it.
Better to talk leftist talk; after all, they have their hands on a goldmine, the incomes of ordinary people. They can drain the peasants now, for every penny. So it’s better to be on their side, right?
It’s a new aristocracy. The old aristocracy used to just beat people up and say hand over your harvest, p[easant, but leftists have learned to lie with incredible talent.
We were with a group of people at dinner in May. Out of the clear blue sky, one woman said she watched obama’s speech that day about Isreal, and she agreed with EVERYTHING he said.
I told her I had also watched that speech, and obama wanted Isreal to go back to its original borders, which I’m opposed to. Then another woman said she’s not an obama fan. People did speak up to her.
I asked her how she got to be such a big liberal, and she looked me in the eye and told me she’s an INDEPENDENT.
It amounts to what can be boiled down to ‘the politics of peer pressure’. To want to be included, and ‘high minded’. Based on fear (of rejection) more than intellect, it provides safety from the unknown, instead of the risk of not knowing.
Liberals are lazy cowards intellectually. Seeking comfort in the approval of others.
They are the most miserable people I have ever known. Of course I don’t associate with them anymore, even family since I learned what they really are. Life is too short to waste one minute of it on the anti-living.

But probably not. He has elected to be a slave to a motif rather than know critical thinking and being free.
It’s amazing. It’s sad. Not allowing their minds to work as designed, they have to shunt the impluses trying to connect inside the brain that connect the dots favoring history.
