Latino voters overwhelmingly support President Obama over any of the potential GOP candidates, according to a Fox News Latino poll released on Monday.
In a head-to-head match-up against President Obama, none of the Republican candidates polled hire than 14 percent among Latinos.
Additionally, 73 percent said they approved of the job the president has been doing, well above Gallups national average of 45 percent. And 58 percent said they approved of the presidents handling of the economy, which is by far the most important issue in the 2012 election.
Obama also wins a plurality among Latinos that supported Sen. John McCain (R-Ari.) in 2008, with 40 percent saying they would not vote for a Republican candidate again in 2012.
The Republican candidates have sometimes taken positions during the primaries that have turned off Latino voters.
Both GOP frontrunners, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum, are on record as being against the DREAM Act, which would provide a path to citizenship for the children of illegal immigrants born in the U.S., and which 90 percent of Latino voters say they support.

Well this is baffling, I guess you do the best you can.
Polls are rigged don’t believe this garbage. I work with many Latinos and I’m telling you they are not down with this man in the WH. I have extensive conversations with my Latino friends and I’m told he is NOT popular in that culture. They will not vote for him again. They may not vote for the Republican candidate and stay home but they will not vote for him even though they are use to voting Dem.
“In a head-to-head match-up against President Obama, none of the Republican candidates polled hire than 14 percent among Latinos.”
Gee, that must be some of that ‘broad brush’ painting that the race baiters of FR keep yelling about at those of us who would like to see this invasion/creeping socialism/3rd world mindset stopped!
They need to read Travis McGee’s second novel.....of course they would dismiss it, because it hasn’t happened yet.....or HAS it?
“Latinos are overwhelmingly Socialists. Why? This is the real question.
The great majority of them work pay taxes like the rest of us.”
No, unfortunately they don’t. They file, even without a SS# and get a Earned Income rebate. They also use social services at a greater rate than the rest of the population.

Illegal Workers Used Tax Credit to Pocket $4.2 Billion, Audit Shows
Fox News ^ | Sept. 2, 2011
Undocumented workers collected $4.2 billion in a tax credit last year, up from less than $1 billion five years ago. The Additional Child Tax Credit is a refundable tax credit meant for working families but as a result of a vague U.S. law as well as an expansion of the tax credit in stimulus [read Obama] legislation the number of illegal workers receiving the money has skyrocketed.[snip]

ouch I am wrong then. Surprisingly high number. That is unsustainable. It doesn't matter what people vote for against this will have to change one way or another.
Thanks for your ping (from another thread)/posts/links in this very good thread, AuntB. Very interesting.
They’re not about to return to their countries when we have dimwits like Dubya and Obama trying to ram amnesty through.
If demography is destiny, the USA won’t have 50 states in 25 years.
“If demography is destiny, the USA wont have 50 states in 25 years.”
I completely agree. The writing is on the wall.
I love the SW, but it’s going to be a hot corner of the cube.
Funny thing...SB1070 caused a mass exodus of illegals from Arizona. Interstate 10 looked like the migrant film Harvest of Shame...hundreds of loaded vans and trucks either going back to Mexico, or California.

All it takes is political will.
” All it takes is political will.”
That is something in very short supply. At least Arizona proved that strict laws DO work.
Maybe it's time for comprehensive immigration reform. I am not talking about amnesty but rather just legalizing those who are here right now, or tomorrow, or...
They might need some help, not a handout but a hand-up. How about free college, free birth control, free health care, err, comprehensive health care.... and they need housing.... lastly they should get to vote ..... that should fix this poll...they will love us...
thoughts ?
Latinos have a choice to make. Since they never heard of the freedom choice in school and in diversity race inoctrination, and have only heard a communist tribalist choice, they are going to have to be educated by a GOP with an American-American constitutional Republic agenda and ideology. The current GOP offers none of that.
Also, I don’t believe race polls. They are always conducted by Democrats and in this case, in spanish. They never ask the polled if they are eligible to vote. They fix the questions to come out their way. They pressure and threaten Hispanics so it is not safe to say you are against the Dems to strangers.
I really, really hope that was written with your tongue firmly planted in your cheek...
“thoughts ? “
LOL!!
Don't worry, SOL is always mocking libs like that.
