I have to wonder what idiot even suggest Madonna at the Super Bowl? Does anyone really believe Madonna appeals to football fans? It’s like getting Snoop Dogg or 50 Cent to perform at the CMAs. Madonna is the last “artist” I’d get to do the Super Bowl.

I dont think they are all that concerned about football fans enjoying the halftime show. NSync and Britney Spears with Aerosmith? The Black Eyed Peas? New Kids on the Block? Gloria Estefan (2x)? Phil Collins? I dont think of football when I see those names.
I think the point is to shove it in the fans’ faces because they can. And, unfortunately, there have not been enough fans burning up the phone lines to the NFL to protest this garbage.
We won’t be watching in our house.
