I apologize for the language. Not the sentiment.
These people drive me wild. For them it is a game, for some of us it is keeping our families alive.
You did not check my posting history, you made some inadequate quick look that wasn’t thorough, because the many posts are scattered throughout that posting history.
I recall describing my experience with and interest in survivalism involvement as many decades long I don’t remember claiming “vast Knowledge”, although of course by now it is pretty broad and much of it is just a part of my lifestyle.
I still put in my hand on various survival, knife, flashlight, gun, military, etc. forums around the net, having belonged to many of them before I signed on for the politics here at freerepublic.
LOL, I know what it means, that was why it was so silly.
Dang, it was refreshing reading that post. Hope you don’t get yourself banned.
Your post didn’t bother me in the least EnglishCon. I’m sure more than a few of us were muttering the same things to ourselves.
Cheers!
The main thing I've learned over the years is have enough gasoline and beer on hand .
Sometimes it shows.
Express yourself without profanity in the future.
When the atm doesn’t work anymore, when your car won’t start in the middle of nowhere, when the grocery shelves are empty, when the water is undrinkable, when the air is unbreathable, when the crops are rotting in the ground I don’t think we’ll be worrying about “shit” other than where to bury it.
Thank you, that does describes the posts made at me.
Take it easy with the vulgar F. word language noobie, this is Free Republic, not the Democratic Underground. (Lovingly called the ‘DUmp’ by FReepers of course).
I did check your posting history. And as keeper of the Prepper’s Ping List I think I do a good job of keep up with what’s being posted and by who. The only Time I see that you have posted on a Preparedness Thread is to complain about the acronym thing nothing else. Clearly you recall wrong.
I point out you didn’t even post anything on this thread that is pertinent to the subject of the thread itself. In fact they are any number of threads I can pull up where you posted reams on the acronym, but not one word on the preparedness subject being discussed.
I also not that you don’t answer questions posed to you like I asked you what is more important saving peoples lives or protecting them from an acronym?
Whatever is going on, it was cutesy and deserved notice for maybe the first 50 posts.
But it passed the point of being all-out “creepy” over 100 posts ago. Seriously creepy.
I’m starting to imagine whats-his-name lives in a town where he already ripped off all the legs of the spiders or the only family with an 8 year old boy just moved away...
That kind of creepy!
Then you are making it up, you did not read my posting history, or you would have seen many posts on threads directly and indirectly related to preparedness.
Whatever you are claiming to do, you are not reading my past posts.
Good God! Over 200 posts and you’re still on a tirade?! I’m looking for information and have had to read through pages of garbage because you won’t give it up! Get over it already!
Don’t go away mad! JusT GO AWAY!
You say you go way back in survivalism.
What articles on survival and preparation have you posted to Free Republic?
Then post the link to one of them.
There’s nothing to read and you know it. You aren’t even a member of the FR Prepper’s List. I know I keep it.
On top of all I have asked you several direct pertinent questions and you have failed to answer any of them.
I like knowing that there’s a good chance that someday people might live because of information I made available while you will be remember as someone who caused a tempest in a teapot.
I can live and be proud of my legacy and you know what the sad thing is I sincerely believe you can actual live and feel the same about yours.
You and I have been on many threads together, you act like you run a private, exclusive club.

People need to think ahead about how they are going to cook dried beans for two hours, and then how to keep them from spoiling.
The way is to can them and let the canning process cook them at the same time, that means that for one 2 hour effort, you get your meal, and also future preserved meals, for roughly the same effort and fire tending.
