Romney About to Be Pummeled by 'Devastating' SuperPAC Spots in Florida... Six Million Bucks Worth!

A fresh Winning Our Future ad is being rolled-out today- and it's the best one of the campaign: spending in Florida's eleven TV media markets is said to top $6M, while the 60-second spot 

(titled 'Think You Know Mitt?') is described by those who've seen it as 'a game changer' before it's even hit the air. I myself love it because the message zeroes-in on the number one issue I -and many others- have with Romney: this guy would never repeal ObamaCare... no way.

But the Sheldon Adelson funded SuperPAC is not just making monster ad buys: to get the late-starting Team Gingrich up-to-speed on the ground, they're actually establishing a 'shadow' campaign organisation replete with field managers and elaborate get-out-the-vote efforts, busses, etc. While testing the limits of what even a SuperPAC can do, such an integrated effort comes in a timely manner for the surging Gingrich, who some doubted could get it together quick enough to maintain his now-considerable momentum.

All this of course allows Newt to roll through Florida -where he's already built a healthy lead- and waltz-off with a rich delegate jackpot while preserving the official campaign's cash -including the $2M windfall since South Carolina. It's heartening for supporters to see that Team Gingrich has found ways to counter Mittens' mountain of money and well-established ground-game.

This one is gonna hurt...

And how stupid must Romney feel, losing traction with voters fast and NOW a daunting negative onslaught from Gingrich allies...  it never had to be this way, ya big dummy!

Newt ran a positive campaign from the very start while strongly encouraging the others to do the same.  Cynics may say the Former House Speaker had the most to fear from personal attacks due to 'baggage', yet we all know it was MittPACs spending $3M on an negative ad blitz to not win Iowa that forced Gingrich to go nuclear on them... and all for no gain whatsoever:  they now face a harsh retribution at the worst possible time for Romney's teetering campaign.

Buckle your seatbelt and flip on the TV, Mittbots: first one should be running just in time for your morning coffee... a little bit of karma should go good with that.

Romney and his minions have played dirty for years. Their tactic has been to let the shadow goons play dirty while Mitt acts presidential and above it all. Now that Mittens is snarling, we can see just how freaked out they are.

They have nobody to blame but themselves. They made an enemy of Palin, Gingrich and anyone who dared challenege his patina of “inevitability”. Now they reap what they have sown.

I watched the ad, and I'm sure that because I'm a FReeper, but I already knew this stuff and it seemed like a yawner.

Maybe the folks that have never seen any of this will be moved more.

The basic message is mittens can't be trusted to repeal obamacare, and as much as I'm against mittens, even I don't believe that.

I live in FL and see Gingrich winning I am hoping he breaks 40 again. Passion and people beat slick organization which is why Sarah would have been fine in this field. Newt drew a “Palin-like crowd” in Sarasota yesterday. Romney cannot evoke passion or connect with folks he is a “Stepford Candidate.”

Viewing it standalone, I had the same lukewarm reaction, but this is going out after 2 wks of saturation by Romney's ads and face in FL.
