(CNN) Riding the momentum of his South Carolina win on Saturday, Newt Gingrich said Sunday he planned a week of big speeches offering big solutions for a big country.
Ill be at the space coast in Florida this week giving a speech a visionary speech on the United States going back into space in the John F. Kennedy tradition, the former House Speaker said on C-SPANs Washington Journal.
He said the days leading to Florida's Jan. 31 primary would include other speeches on health care, housing, the economy, Cuba and Latin America.
I hope really once a day to do something very positive and clear about positive ways of moving forward as a country to get back on the right track, Gingrich said.

PING!!
LOTS of layoffs directly attributable to Obama in the Space Coast area.
While NASA needed to be blown up, and started over, Obama’s “NASA MISSION TO MECCA” bs was not it.
NASA has been turned into a "green" agency and is throwing money at Elon Musk for a "commercial" rocket -- AND the government is also throwing money at Elon Musk for "Solar" energy -- along with throwing money at Elon Musk for "Electric" cars.... and Elon Musk is throwing money back at Obama 2012.
Newt needs to make the case for a strong U.S. national space program.
Obama and Holdren are handing our future to the Chinese military space program.

Lets just hope he doesn’t propose to do those “big things” with “big government”. I like Newt, but he does strays off the reservation every now and then - hopefully not this time.
One thing we do need is a strong national space program — this Musk experiment is falling apart. Commercial involvement was happening. We didn’t need to cut the legs out from under our capability and throw away U.S. space access, as carried out by Obama and his Czar (I know the Shuttle was scheduled to be retired but that could have and should have been delayed).
Prizes haven’t worked.
Neither has bankrolling Elon Musk.
Agreed. This country needs inspiration, and space travel provides that.
Also national and economic security — with our military and communication satellites out there in a variety of orbits — space is BIG business and we need to continue expanding our footprint in space. We were going in that direction with the moon return program.
I don’t mind revitalizing Nasa while at the same time nurturing some private companies like spacex.
But he’s also going to talk about a lot of other “big things”, which I don’t mind... I just hope he utilizes the free market and doesn’t pick winners and losers beforehand.
I think NASA is probably the most loved and respected federal agency out of them all. Under Obama, we scrapped the space shuttle and didn’t replace it and ruined America’s space program so we could give away billions of tax dollars to democratic donor solar panel companies like Solyndra and sun power that subsequently went bankrupt. Newt can hit Obama hard here.
nasa is a bloated monstrosity. US space policy should be one that help spacex or other private space companies with lower taxes
Lots of conservatives only talk about cutting things but when Obama announced the end of the space program, that was a very big deal and Newt will be the one to talk about it.
Newt needs to pull this in and deal with the problems we are facing now.
We can't afford space travel.
Newt needs to go to the Kennedy Space Center and talk of reviving our space program.
NASA has become a huge beauracratic mess with NO balls since losing two shuttles. And obozo decided to use the agency as an outreach program to mooselimbs?
What a serious dumb ass this magic negro is.
