Solyndra is just the tip of the iceberg. According to a report from left-wing CBS News, the Obama Department of Energy handed over at least 6.5 billion in our hard-earned tax dollars to so-called "clean energy" companies that have already filed for bankruptcy or are in the process of going down the tubes. I’m shocked that CBS ran this story.
Certainly Obama’s cronies in these companies benefited personally from these government funds and I would not be surprised are paid large bonuses as well. Compare this to to the Obama administration’s response to legitimate businesses who pay their executives as well...they are branded greedy capitalists.
Why the heck isn’t this being shouted from the mountaintops!? This is criminal!

Actually,I meant CBS. The lady reporter says at the end of the CBS piece that the G’ment (obama) thought this was a good idea. Both Democrats and Republicans supported the idea (probably the usual token Rinos)
Im thinking they are getting the story out now instead of in October when it would do the most harm to his O-liness.

The objective is to destroy America and remake it into the USSA.
These bankruptcies hide the real story which is that the $20 billion green energy program was used almost exclusively to pay back big donors to Obama.
I’m just wondering if CBS is jealous of NBC/GE/Immelt and is angling for more bribes.
The big story is the USA is being looted on purpose. All the big money looters know the USA economy will collapse & there will be a long depression. The economies in Europe & elsewhere are already collapsing.
The USA is spending more money than it is receiving. The USA is paying some bills with ‘borrowed’ money. It doesn’t work for people & it doesn’t work for countries.
The collapse is arithmetic certain. The rule of 72 can be applied to determine income growth under different scenarios. The same rule can be used to determine the growth of debt to the point where the payment on the debt itself exceeds total income & there is NO money for daily bills. The USA is on track to have its entire budget going to pay only >debt. The collapse will happen before then. Prepare for that in the future.
No one in political power is currently willing to stop the spending. & History has shown that it is >impossible for a country to tax itself into prosperity.
CBS probably wants to make sure all this corruption is “old news” by the time they gear up to get their Ubama reelected.
I wonder if these companies had stock that was real low that insiders bought up just before the government poured all the money into them causing them to rise and then cashed them in sometime soon thereafter bankrupting the companies and making a killing in profit.
