This just in: Barack Obama wins in '12 (John Kass-weary conservative)
Chicago Tribune ^ | 1-15-12 | John Kass

Posted on 01/15/2012 11:42:46 AM PST by STARWISE

*snip*

The reason he'll win? He knows who he is. And the Republican politicians don't know who they are. They've forgotten what they're about, or perhaps like some isolated tribe, they've lost the language necessary to explain it to themselves.

Their voters know this and don't really believe them anymore.

And that's why Obama will win.

And the Republican establishment that seeks to unseat him?

Their guy Mitt Romney calls himself a conservative. But he's really a John Kerry in Republican clothing, right down to the phony laugh, and his past flips and flops will haunt him in defeat.

Shouldn't the Romney types form their own party and call themselves the Corporatists?

I agree with him, especially if Romney is the nominee, he has as much chance of beating Obama, as Denver had of beating New England last night.

The fix is in for the presidential race.

I don’t give up, but I sure as shooting don’t want to pour any more effort into a situation where the key players are dead set against reason and saving America. Time to focus on the states and Congressional races.

Remember Holder refused to prosecute the black thugs at the polling place. This refusal sends a “signal” that voter intimidation by blacks against whites will be tolerated. Secondly, whites have lost their firmness, their ability to govern if you please. In my youth the black thug at the polling place would have caused people to roll on the ground laughing just before they whipped him down the street. Today they scream and run-(read the reports of the small black riot at the Wisconsin fair.)

Alot of conservatives/libertarian types are realistic and see what’s happening......the nation is lost/being lost. Obama wins in 2012 and many of us are doing as best we can to not have to depend on the gov’t/grid, etc. Hunger in bunker and wait for the inevitable national collapse.

John Kass is the most solid conservative voice in Chicago. Time and time again he has proved it.

What you wrote is idiotic. You did not even bother to find out who the person who wrote this is.

Kass is smart. And he’s probably right.

And every word that he wrote is what FReepers have been saying. Pubbies are a mess. If they don’t straighten out, Obama wins.

That’s simply true. To dismiss it because it comes from a Chicago newspaper is stupid.

There was a similar riot at the Iowa State Fair either last year or the year before.

Their guy Mitt Romney...

'nuff said, and if Romney takes the nomination the yes 0bama WILL have another 4 years.

However if Romney is considered "the republican party's guy" the republican party will be much smaller in 2013 than it is now.

They certainly cannot articulate the words hostile takeover, leveraged buyout, bust out a company, corporate raider, asset stripping etc.

I know. Such multiple riots merely strengthen my argument. We appear to have “lost it!”

What is it that the One in the Oval Office is? He appears to be a complete fraud. Is that what he knows he is? How will knowing that win him the election when it is clear that more and more people have caught on to his being a narcissistic fraud?

Exactly. It's disgusting to me watching what the dying GOP and their media accomplices at Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, etc. doing all they can to utterly butcher and smear the few Constitutional-minded candidates.

I don't think any of them can hear the words anymore.

I'm with you on these people like Rush who we thought stood up to rinos. What happened to Rush's saying "Conservatism works every time it's tried"? I WILL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES vote for Romney. If we conservatives give in AGAIN, like when mccain was crowned, then we are just like the women that keeps coming back to the husband who beats her. We need to get some courage and start a third party:

The Conservative Party (C) 40% of people consider themselves conservative. It's time for a change.

Remember how a few months ago the conventional wisdom was that Obama would lose? Now, with the GOP essentially surrendering by settling on Romney, I`m not seeing any scenario in which Obama loses, unless a major scandal embroils the regime. There are still flickers of hope, but they`re dwindling by the day.

The MSM is setting up the headlines for their November issues:
Obama Landslide! Obama Wins Second Term! Obama-Hillary Win big! Obama wins! Beats out Romney and Paul. Obama wins with 51% of Vote! Another Four Years! Obama’s the One!
Be ready for it because thats what they are working hard to make happen. Let us not be buying tickets to move to another land—or living in the hills for the next 4 years. Lets continue the battle to expose the left and their plans—even if we must go underground.

Yep, got that too, we be ready and those that blindly supported the socialist thinking everything is going to get better are going to be in for a big surprise when they get what they want, much like the Occupy Wall Street are moaning and groaning after they got just what they voted for, the spread the wealth candidate 2008.

Yes, 40% of the voters are conservative.

Getting the next 11% without losing any of the 40% is going to be very difficult - with Romney, impossible IMO.

I think a conservative party in a 3-way race offers the best hope to keep the 40, making Romney and his twin brother Obama split the 60.

I did not know that Mitt Romney served in Vietnam. Was that before or after Romney’s sire marched with Martin Luther King?
