This just in: Barack Obama wins in '12 (John Kass-weary conservative)

*snip*
The reason he'll win? He knows who he is. And the Republican politicians don't know who they are. They've forgotten what they're about, or perhaps like some isolated tribe, they've lost the language necessary to explain it to themselves.
Their voters know this and don't really believe them anymore.
And that's why Obama will win.
And the Republican establishment that seeks to unseat him?
Their guy Mitt Romney calls himself a conservative. But he's really a John Kerry in Republican clothing, right down to the phony laugh, and his past flips and flops will haunt him in defeat.
Shouldn't the Romney types form their own party and call themselves the Corporatists?

Hard to argue with him about the consistency of the mission and message, and the unity and strength of the GOP leadership, whomever it is or they are these days. MAN UP, PUBBIES .. LEAD! God have mercy. This is a fight that MUST be won.

The current mob of republicans cannot get out of their own way. They cut each other’s throats, beat each other up, and finally in the end shoot themselves in their own feet. Obama’s mob will play up that the RINOs say about their own and gain from that. The RINOs are going to cause this election to be lost, again. We have to hope to get the Senate back and keep the House. Then at least there is the chance to shut down his communism before he can over run the Republic.

You know how the most of us held our nose and voted for the establishment Mcwhatshisface? Well, it the establistment’s turn to hold their nose and vote for someone other than Romneycrat.
Which isn’t going to happen because they have made the deal behind our backs and it would require them admitting they made a big mistake. Which I am not convinced they believe they have made a big mistake.

Regardless where this crap comes from, King Obama will win because if Romney or Paul is our nominee, case closed.

Nice attempt to demoralize the republicans and suppress their vote. Don't think it will work, aside from a few losers here and there.

Shouldn't the Romney types form their own party and call themselves the Corporatists? They're often mistakenly called "pro-business moderates" by news organizations, but that's not quite accurate.
For all the rhetoric about opposing regulation on business, they're not opposed to those regulations that crush their competitors.
But do they know why their party is adrift? Can they even articulate the problem? I doubt it.
---
Exactly. It's disgusting to me watching what the dying GOP and their media accomplices at Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, etc. doing all they can to utterly butcher and smear the few Constitutional-minded candidates.
I don't think any of them can hear the words anymore.

“The Divine One” will win reelection for the following reasons: a billion dollar war chest; a lackluster Republican candidate; massive election fraud; the intimidation of white voters at certain critical precincts-(one scowling black thug will send thousands of whites fleeing in abject terror); the media sides with him and will have him raising the dead by October; statistical warfare wherein full employment will be claimed even though thousands can be seen dying of hunger; a massive voting bloc composed of jews, blacks, asians, and Mexicans facing a dispirited fragmented American voting populace. Lastly, “The Divine One” is the incumbent.

You make a good point, remember McCain wouldn’t even compare his economic plan against a generic Democrat’s to explain what the difference would be, and those of us in the know got what we expected from a Democrat, fragile recovery at a best case scenario description from their Democrat economist.

Has anybody pointed out yet that Mitt Romney protested in favor of the draft, and yet got himself a draft-deferment?
That just crossed my mind.

Republicans are involved in a primary race. Obama is doing what he does best, nothing. Obama will lose. Amen. Obama knows what he is, but the image they portray to the voters is not the same. He cannot fool enough people a second time, even if Romney gets the nod. I am not happy to see him as the likely nominee, and even with a win, not real excited about Romney as the head of our party, but the alternative is unthinkable, and most voters know we cannot have four more years of this.

I agree with you, Star. Everybody has to man up, all of us.
You may be Richard Brandon, but you are incredibly PC for a "conservative."
Don't buy that leftist garbage that we women will be hurt, ostracized, and offended if someone tells us to "man up," "man the phones," or anything similar.
how much ink has been wasted writing "his or her" instead of just plain, "his?" Tons.
