A federal judge is preventing Virginia from printing ballots until he issues a ruling on Texas Gov. Rick Perry's ballot challenge.
U.S. District Judge John A. Gibney Jr. has ordered the Virginia State Board of Elections to send directives to each of the state's local boards, telling them not to print any absentee ballots until after the emergency motion is heard on Friday.
Virginia's primary is on March 6th. In order to get absentee ballots mailed overseas in time, Virginia needed to start printing ballots this weekend, and mailing them out by Jan 21.

Hey, Rick and Rick are the last conservatives standing. If Santorum is charged with murdering Ron Paul—and lord knows I couldn't blame him if he did—and can no longer run that leaves your guy.
Compared to the rest, being a little soft on illegal aliens is nothing.

If Mitt and Ron Paul are the only two guys on the ballot-- I ain't a votin'.
I will vote for either or them against Obama--but I am not voting for either in the primary.

This same judge refused to stop the ballots when Perry asked him to earlier. Guess we’ll here why he changed his mind... eventually.
Good news anyway!

Hang in there, Gov. Perry! You have a rough ride ahead. Be strong, and don't give up.
Thanks for all the pings and posts.

I believe that Yosemite could kick obama’s arse in a debate... he would call him a varmint too! I have it from a credible source that even Bugs hates the kenyan.

He isn’t perfect, but I’ll probably vote for him if I get the chance (AZ).

Perry will win this for the whole bunch of them. OF course, he is the only leader running the others just follow him. So obvious!!! Yes indeed!

“Perhaps Perry is good for something after all.”
Back for more bashing, I see. Maybe you’ll answer my question if I ask it a third time.
Why do you spend so much time searching out Perry threads to bash a good conservative man? Do you think your behavior is Christian? Or, if you aren’t Christian, is it seemly?
To: Happy Rain
“As you know CW I ain’t exactly Perry’s biggest fan but I don’t want his Virginia fans to be unable to vote for him.”
As a Virginia voter, I appreciate that. I’m convinced our Lt. Governor, who is the head of the Romney campaign in the state, has a lot to do with the situation. If I’m forced to choose between the liberal and the lunatic on primary day, I’ll stay home.
To: McGavin999
Perry is no quitter. God bless him, he’s exactly what we need in a president.
To: Happy Rain
Thanks, Happy. You’re coming around. Perry is not soft on illegal aliens.

Well, someone up thread said he wanted VA Perry fans to be able to vote for Perry and then he said, ‘both of them.’
You’re one, and I have an odd feeling there may be more than two.
Of course, the other candidates would ride his coattails on this if he wins. Well, I guess I mean Newt as he was the only other one to submit signatures. I don’t think Santorum even tried.

I’m pretty sure Santorum didn’t try.
I noticed the “both of them” remark, but I didn’t think that part was worth responding to, LOL.
