Ron Paul will never win the nomination...
It's Newt Gingrich... or say 'hello' to President Romney
The anti-Romney vote approximates 60-80% in most upcoming primary states... yet he's starting to run away with it. The problem with that being Mitt -although a competent manager and clearly no dummy- is not a conservative, but an unprincipled, opportunistic chameleon with zero core beliefs who cannot be trusted to act with the courage and conviction required for repealing ObamaCare or any of the other damaging legislation/diktats recently rammed down our throats by the power-drunk Left... but Gingrich can.
Yes, we've arrived at the point where only unity on the American Right can prevent us from having to endure four (or more) years of Obama-Lite, the legitimizing of the entire so-called 'progressive' era, and the permanent acceptance of the USA as a Big-Government entitlement-state... that's what a Romney presidency brings (provided he can even get enough conservatives to show up on election day).
To me, that means the end of all that ever made this country great in the first-place... and probably a national debt crisis.
I therefore deplore each and every one of you to have a real look at the genuine Reaganite platform you can expect from a Gingrich Administration- what's not to like?
- Pure, unabashed Reaganomics... with Art Laffer's enthusiastic endorsement . (Ronald Reagan's vaunted supply-side economics created 20M jobs- growing Real GDP 30% in the process).
- Prompt repeal of ObamaCare, firing of all czars, and classification of all terrorist detainees as 'enemy combatants'.

In my humble opinion Newt Gingrich has done far more for the conservative movement in this country than anybody else on the stage... I'm talking about getting things done.
There's no more able defender of American exceptionalism than the Former House Speaker, either-
a true believer if ever there was one, and a stand-up guy to boot.
Ron Paul supporters can and must realize their candidate made himself unelectable with fringy, turtle-esque views on important national security issues... then ask themselves if RP ever really thought he could be president- sure doesn't act like it. I know you guys are having fun and all, but just think about getting most of what you want from Gingrich, who's gone out of his way to praise Paul's fiscal views. Although I don't know to what degree he'll be able to impress you over the long run, I can guarantee you won't like a President Romney any more than I will.
Santorum's mediocre debate performances of the last couple days made it clear to most that he's not going to be setting the world on fire in November's general -nor perhaps any other- election. He's a good guy, but is this really the pony you want to bet the farm on?
Both Mittens and Obama are undoubtably mortified of facing Gingrich one-on-one... no candidate has a better chance of landing a knockout punch on the Bolshevik Boy Wonder in debate than Newt... nobody.
This is a man who's says he's dedicated to a second
Reagan Revolution -as nothing less with restore the glory and might of the United States. It therefore boils down to whether you choose to believe him... as I do.
I urge you to consider doing the same: Newt's been plenty open regarding his platform, and it's honestly hard for me to understand the cynicism in some out there, doesn't seem grounded in reality.
Gingrich spoke to an overflow crowd at his Derry, NH Town Hall yesterday, where he blasted Obama both barrels while offering a refresher on his own supply-side credentials.
Saturday Newt held a special Veterans' Town Hall featuring former Reagan National Security Adviser Bud McFarlane at the at the Wright Museum of World War II History in Wolfeboro, NH, where he by all accounts delivered a dazzling performance...

I strongly urge everyone to cast your vote for the leader of the Not-Romney canidate (Newt Rick or Perry). Whoever happens to be leading in a particular State/Primary....he gets our vote. Otherwise be prepared to get Rinoed again!

The problem with a Gingrich nomination was revealed in IA.
If fellow GOP ads sank his numbers from ahead of the pack to a mediocre 4th place, just image what the MSM/Dems/Team Obama barrage will do in October. Most, even Republicans, are not even paying attention to the candidates yet. They will be paying attention by October.
Newt was whining because of Paul's and Romney's ads; Newt would be bawling by the end of October and the MSM/Dem opposition onslaught.
The unemployment numbers from last week revealed one thing: the BLS/MSM/Dems will make the unemployment numbers and economy appear [even if manipulated] much better by October. Things will 'appear' to be so good that they will be preparing for Obama's Second Coming, which will only rival his First.
Do you really think another OLD white-haired white guy is going to give Obama a serious competition? Remember 1996! Remember 2008! What is that definition of 'insanity'? Oh yeah, doing the same thing and expecting a different result. Nominating another old white guy to go up against an incumbent [who is already undergoing MSM/Dem rehabilitation and resurrection] and expecting a different result just isn't going to happen.
Yes, Newt is a great debater. But, with a bit of preparation, so is any slick, fast-talking used-car salesman. And it takes more than debates to win an election.

Why does Newt fly Southwest?
Bags fly free on Southwest and Newt has many, many, many.

Don't like that joke? It is mild compared to what a Gingrich nomination would face.

Santorum far too weak a candidate, almost totally lacking in charismaYet he received 85% more votes than Newt Gingrich in Iowa.

“South Carolina will tell the story a bit better.”
I agree. South Carolina will lay it out. My relatives there, transplanted from New York but veterans, are supporting Perry. Governor Perry is obviously the candidate whose name cannot be spoken anywhere. He’s never mentioned as a contender. I’m tired of being polite. He is everything the country needs. I’m hoping he’ll surge. The only reason I hope is because I fear the party nominating Santorum. For the love of God. He has no experience. He’s a nice guy. He has strong religious beliefs and opinions. He’s young and handsome with a lovely family. And? Uh. Do we look at anything anymore except “I like him?” The four brand new voting age members of our family (all in college) think Santorum is cute and maybe they’ll vote for him instead of Ron Paul. Uh. What? I’m going nuts.
If Newt wins the nomination, I will do everything to try to get him elected. But, for now, please speak the name of Governor Rick Perry who has the broadest experience and the best insight.

I agree. May the voters decide wisely.

http://www.newswithviews.com/Devvy/kidd450.htm There are a few threads here on Free republic that have discussed Newt and his mind sets and beliefs. No matter what he says, it is what he has done. Some of it good, there is a huge area where he is for one world governmsnt, a liberal, he is an internationalist, he is for immigration, he poses as a conservative, and really he is a so called left leaning moderate. That is an understatement and obviously so.
He promotes Tofflers Book “The Third Wave” as being brilliant.
Here's a link ... very interesting, read it all for full information. this is part 2, at the end of it is a link to part 1. Part one is short and regards his college years primarily. Part two is his record in Congress and government.
I fear him to be basically another Obama!!! He is not going to say so, ...

This is from September, Esquire Magazine, by his former wife of 18 years, her first ever interview concerning Newt. It is well worth reading to the end. It is a bit long but has continuing information to make it worth the reading. Good source!

This sentence applies every bit as much to Newt as to Romney. Either way, we're hosed. For whatever reason, conservatives just don't come out and back conservative candidates in the primaries.

70% of conservatives are in the NOT-ROMNEY category. Most of whom are still undecided.
Please support
Rick Santorum
To: Dan.israel.2011
I am a Rick Santorum voter. Here’s how I see it:
America with Obama is America in the throes of death.
America with Romney is America in a coma on life support.
America with Newt is America with cancer, taking treatments and given a 50-50% chance of survival.
This leaves Santorum and Perry...
I discount Huntsman all together. He is a red herring.
Both Santorum and Perry talk a good conservative message, but I prefer the message of Santorum that “with freedom comes responsibility.” He has very thoroughly thought through his positions. And I do like what he has to say about taxes. As far as charisma goes...I think he is one that can grow on you. Steady, sure, and loyal can be very charismatic when viewed properly. I’m on the side of the Chuck the Truck Guy, and I hope others will see the strength in Santorum as I have.
For those who know nothing about him, a few videos of him in his own words will help get the ball rolling:

Excellent, but I’m sure you “implore” each and every one of us!
GO NEWT!
STOP ROMNEY!
Don’t let his scorched earth work this time. Romney was stopped was in ‘08 when Huckabee and McCain caught onto his scorched earth attack ads.
NEWT WAS AHEAD IN ALL POLLS, NATIONALLY AND IN EARLY PRIMARY STATES -—
SOUNDLY BEATING ROMNEY SO HE WENT AFTER NEWT!
SUPPORT NEWT BACK TO THE TOP WHERE HE BELONGS!
The demonic-rats are dying to run against Romney.
