Look, the Taliban, per se, is not our enemy. - VP Joe Biden December 2011
Two weeks ago the White House told us that the Taliban was not our enemy.
Iran Press TV reported that nine missiles were launched in the attack on Bagram Air Force Base in Afghanistan. There were initial reports of several casualties.
UPDATE: Press TV has more on the attack:
The U.S. Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan came under 2 missile attacks on Saturday, as the American soldiers were celebrating the New Years Eve.
Taliban militants have claimed responsibility for the attacks, saying they have fired 9 long-range missiles on the strategic base, killing dozens of soldiers.
Afghan officials have confirmed the attacks, but ruled out any fatalities.

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
THAT'S because they know better than to "mess with Joe" and his boss, 0bama! LOL!
Won the war, lost the peace.
Viet Nam...lost the war but almost won it if the damn politicians had just let the Generals run the war.
Hmmmm missiles part of Fast n Furious???........../sarc.......?
... and leave our new allied forces in charge!
If Joe Bidet said it, you can take it to the bank....NOT!!!
One more thing didn’t want to make light of this. Just despise this WH. Any of our fine Military hurt or killed is on them at this point. Kiss the hand of the enemy.....now this.
There is quite a bit of blood on Obama’s hands.
My friend’s site. He’s there.

Oh my. Very interesting. Very interesting indeed.
From Obama’s perspective, the Taliban is not HIS enemy. The US military (which they would consider to be infested with bitter clingers) is their enemy.
Biden is just too stupid to understand what his boss is telling him to say.
"Look, the US Citizen, per se, is not our friend."
You are misguoting Joe Biden.
He said "Talibian". Those are the residents of Talibia. Talibia is a VERY small island country just to the west of the Azores. Talibia is so small it's not even on most maps. It's so small, it only gets $450 million a year in US aid. All 3 of the resident Talibians love America.
Thanks Nachum.
Obamaâs policies leave US out in the cold for imminent Pakistan regime change

“lost the war”
No. We won every battle, often killing 20:1. We LEFT the war, and in so doing, abandonned the South Vietnamese to a fate of nearly pure slaughter. We left those people high and dry.
We lost over 50,000 men and women. Walter Cronkite, Jane Fonda and John Kerry must have been very well paid. IIRC, Kerry’s brother has some kind of exclusive real estate brokerage interest in Vietnam now.
In reality, as with Korea, we were fighting Communist China by proxy.
Other interesting Talibian factoids:
...no Talibians have ever tried to illegally immigrate to the USA.
...in a close vote of 0 to 3, a call to become the 58th US state failed miserably. Rumor has it that should Talibia become a state, their aid would be cut off.
...some of the US aid money was used to build an international airport. Oddly enough, the airport has never been used...probably because the runway is only 37 feet long. One of the Talibians muttered something about “filthy tourists” and spat.
...when asked by a CNN reporter to point in the direction of America, the 3 residents all pointed in different directions. The CNN reporter congratulated them on there knowledge of geography.
...the CNN reporter also asked the Talibians what they did for a living, they all claimed to work at the Talibian Post Office. One of the Talibians explained. “We spend so much time waiting at the post office for our US aid check...why not get paid for it?”
...Dr. Spock is even considering reviving his Cat In The Hat series with the introduction of the Talibians. He is currently awaiting word on his airline reservations from his travel agent, so he can visit Talibia for background information.
“”There is quite a bit of blood on Obamas hands.””
It is very difficult to remember one single person in my life who was as oblivious to his surroundings as this scoundrel is. There is something missing or a lot of “somethings” missing in that person - I don’t know what. I just know he’s not like the rest of us. AND we thought Clinton was the worst we could get! UGH!
