A) I don't think ALL the polls are lying,
B) There really aren't any terrific alternatives to get behind, and

The Virginia AG Ken Cuccinelli has joined Gingrich and Perry in proposing a timely change of party rules and statutes to accommodate other candidates. It has also been reported that he is joined by Governor Robert McDonnell (who I believe is regrettably supporting the Mittwit and Lieutenant Governor Bolling, Mittwit’s campaign manager in VA, to be governor in 2013 against Cuccinelli). One suspects that this will cinch the opening of the VA primary.

Saundra: I despise Mittens because I have watched his waffling and dishonesty up close. I have every respect for Mormons as paople and as conservatives. Romney is not a very good representative of the Mormons I have known. They are at least as pro-life and pro-family as any identifiable group in our society. He is not. His track record in Taxachusetts was awful. He is no more representative of Mormons than was Frank Church or anyone I have heard of named Udall. To call those who understandably resist Romney "yes men and brown nosers" is a bit much. Wouldn't you agree?

Schwarzenkennedy is theoretically a Catholic. I actually am a Catholic. I won't support Schwarzenkennedy or anmy Kennedy or Nancy Pelosi or Tom Daschle or Rosa DeLauro or Dickie Durbin just because they claim (falsely) to be Catholic. I hope you view Romney with similar objectivity. I have no idea what religion McClintock is but I thought he would have made a much better governor of California than Schwarzenkennedy.
