No he didn’t say it was “okay”, he just said he isn’t willing to do anything to stop it.
Put it this way “Paul is soft on Iran ~ wouldn’t stop nukes”.

Yes, he did say so. He said that all of the nations around them had nukes, that Israel had so many (he named some number), and that Iran is "surrounded" (or words similar to that.)
He went on to say that no one could blame them for wanting a nuke, too.
That sounds to me like he thinks it's a swell idea. In other words, "OK".
I believe he’s also said they have “as much right as anyone else” to have a nuke “to defend themselves” because they “feel threatened’.
