Mark Levin accuses Ann Coulter (and BillO) of using what is a perfect opportunity to discuss Newts comments last night on changing the judiciary to instead trash him in favor of her candidate, calling him bombastic and minimizing him by saying that he never achieves anything anyway:
She wont even give the man credit for what he has achieved! Taking back the House from 44 years of Democrat monopoly was never thought possible and in doing so he had to defeat the Republican establishment! You cant even give him that?
No they cant, because they have a hate-on. They have a hate-on.
Do you know why I resent this? Because now we have a bunch of bullies running around. And Giuliani was 100% right. Theyre trying to turn this guy into a crazy man.
And I resent it and I resist it! Hes not even my guy and I resent it and I resist it!

Ann’s gunning for the Kathleen Parker Irrelevance Award. Front-runner at the moment. Sad to see.
I used to like her and I cant believe the sh1t coming out of her mouth now.She has been hanging out with lib “men” and it is really starting to show.Enough of her.
Levin makes some great points - and as he said, he’s not even a Newt backer.
“that RNC not finding it as easy; as it once was; to make those calls”
I d get those fund raising letters from the RNC from time to time. What I need to do is send them in empty with the message “I am not paying you to shove Mitt Romney down our throats”. You will not get a dime from me. My money is going straight to Newt.
AC says Mitt is a conservative.
I am no particular fan of Ann Coulter, or Mitt Romney, but why is she so wrong on this? Okay, he has certainly taken less than conservative positions in the past, but he seems to be holding to a reasonably conservative line right now. Should we believe that all conservatives must be born that way? Why can't conservatives be reformed liberals? After all, Newt has taken a rather soft line on GSE's, single payer health care plans, and other such issues, and seems unreformed on some of them. I honestly don't see why we should be trashing either of these guys in that sense. But in the end I am more concerned with what they are promoting today than what they thought ten years ago, and in that Mitt may actually have a lead on Newt.
I’ve had it with Coulter to the point that I change the channel or station when she comes on. She does occasionally still make a good point or two, but after backing Christie and now Mittens, she can no longer seriously claim to be conservative. On top of that, sometimes she is so shrill, catty, nasty, etc. that she automatically discredits conservatives. I really wish that she would STFU.
Regarding Coulter's statements about Newt's "bombastic" style being a negative for a presidential candidate, does she forget that just a few months ago she was wildly wishing for Christie to run and praising his merits? Not exactly a shrinking violet there, and with far less substantial underpinnings in the Founders' ideas.
Now, one more thing, there's a bit more hypocrisy in Michelle Bachman's relentless attacks on the conservatism of Gingrich. Her debate attacks on Newt are in sharp contrast to her words of praise for him in this video, which includes her attributing the title of "architect" of the conservative movement and "renaissance man," among other high honors, to Gingrich. See: here. Newt should use this video clip in commercials, beginning tomorrow.
She’s looking wierder and wierder these days.
He has no political conservative record—ALL and I mean ALL of the other candidates have at least SOME conservative behavior in their public service pasts.
He wants us to take his word that he is NOW conservative.
Sorry, ain’t going to buy a used car from THAT slick trick.
I don’t see Ann Coulter or anyone else giving their opinion on the candidates as any different than what you or I do here on FR most days.
So, they do it on tv and we don’t. It’s still the same thing.
Ann Coulter is dead to me.
Thanks for posting this.
I am a Levin fan, although I wasn’t able to listen tonight. And I don’t always agree with him (or anybody for that matter.) I wondered if he would respond in some way when Newt nearly quoted “Men In Black” chapter and verse during last night’s debate.
Way to go, Mark Levin!!
The right/best response to the RNC/;^)
(Am sure you heard as well; the RNC formulation per 'winning strategy'. . .telling candidates to NOT criticize Obama; lest you anger those who are 'supposedly' now; feeling sorry for him.
Like hearing a death wish, of sorts. Incredible.)
Levin has done a good job of defending Gingrich, even though he’s not really much of a fan.
He also blasted Newt’s idea of hauling judges to congressional hearings, and wondered if Newt would like judges to be able to serve bench warrants against legislators.
I liked Palin so much that I voted for her as a write-in in '08. The ones who threw the election to the DNC were the McCain supporters. And this year, they are supporting McNewt.
I would hope that everyone would have learned their lesson after the last debacle and throw their support to a conservative candidate this time. But instead, we get another old fart who will talk about how great things were when Clinton was President.
If I thought for a second that Newt would be an effective conservative chief executive, I would support him. But knowing Newt, I also know that this simply is not the case. If it wasn't for fear of Romney, we wouldn't even be entertaining the thought of supporting a N. Leroy Gingrich candidacy.
Let me get this straight. Ann Coulter (who once said "We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity") is calling Newt out for being bombastic. Did she giggle when she said that or was her complaint that Newt has been infringing on her copyrighted material?
Newt will be the nominee and he will trash Obambi when he gets to. Newt is a conservative and I expect him to be trashed by Demonrats not by republicans. RINOs go stuff it!
