The ineligible Mitt 'Hussein' Romney:
"I bet you $10,000 that the docile stupid RINOs
like Krauthammer, Will, and Coulter
will simply ignore what I do today,
and will continue to pimp me for me
-- even if YOU rot in jail.”

"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

[Cato Institute annual Fiscal Policy Report Card - America's Governors, 2004.]

Milt Romney – the Magic RINO:
"I'm not running as the Republican view
or a continuation of Republican values.
That's not what brings me to the race.

(Romney Video, accessed 9/19/07)

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party
over to the traitors in the battle just ended.
We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged
to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support.
Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates
wouldn’t make any sense at all.""

Well, Good Lord I have never seen an attack on somebody like I'm seeing on Newt Gingrich- it reminds me of Sarah Palin at this point'

Good Grief! I think Mark is slipping. He must have missed the way Herman Cain was lynched just last month........

I don't care nearly as much for Gingrich as I still do for Herman Cain.....

I’m not a big Levin fan but he’s right on the money on this issue. I can’t believe the daily assault on one of our own candidates by these pundits. Even Brit Hume was spewing the poison the last few nights. This is the same effort by the GOP elite to get the RINO nominated that we saw in 2008. Only its worse this time around because the base is resisting so hard. People have finally wised up.

Look at their accomplishments. Newt allied himself with Ronald Reagan to build the Reagan Coalition, the Religious Right, and the Republican majority (together the Reagan Revolution) which directly led the downfall of the Soviet Union, the Contract with America, government reforms, less government, tax cuts, a balanced budget, and the great, long-standing Reagan economy.

Romney, on the other hand, vehemently denied Ronald Reagan and aligned himself with Ted Kennedy and the left. Romney accomplished installing liberal big government programs, defended and promoted Roe v Wade and legalized abortion as “settled law,” advocated and implemented RomneyCare with its liberty killing government mandates against formerly free citizens and its taxpayer funded or subsidized and mandated abortion procedures. He ran and governed to the left of Ted Kennedy on the “gay agenda” resulting in gay marriage in Massachusetts. He appointed liberal judges and liberal appointees throughout his government. Under his “leadership” conservatism and the Republican party was all but destroyed in Massachusetts.

Romney is one evil liberal progressive. No way in hell will MittBots be allowed to support this abortionist, big government, socialist scumbag on FR!

Guess my message isn’t clear enough. I have to keep repeating it and zotting would be MittBots.

Good analysis from levin, who is not a big Newt fan himself.

So its not just us who are leaning towards Newt who think its a bit ridiculous how they’re treating him.

I'm not terribly surprised to see conservative commentators line up against Newt Gingrich - because he's not a conservative. Unlike Mark Levin, I'm not a Romney supporter but I can't get behind Newt Gingrich, either - and I've tried. Glenn Beck recently offered a devastating critique of Newt's progressive ideology (using Newt's quotes) and convinced me once and for all that Gingrich is simply not a conservative. Better than Democrat-Lite Mitt Romney? Absolutely. In my opinion, that is faint praise. I'm sick of voting for lukewarm 'Republicans' that either lose to the real liberal (McCain to Obama) or win and give us more big government (G.H.W. Bush).

Like many FReepers, I wanted Sarah Palin to run but the left scared her off. I wanted Cain and the left drove him away with fake scandals. I tried to want Gingrich but his history of progressive rhetoric and big-government solutions just won't compute with my conservative political values. I can't understand how Tea Party folks can be enthusiastic about a career politician (Gingrich) who doesn't share their political philosophy. Wanting Obama out is perfectly understandable but wanting to replace him with another Republican Progressive with a well-know mercurial disposition and outsized ego (Gingrich) seems perverse. I'm not willing to trade everything I believe in just to defeat Obama. I firmly believe that the polls showing Obama 'neck-and-neck' with GOP challengers are skewed and unreliable. Obama can be defeated by any of the Republican contenders, including Michelle Bachmann or Rick Santorum, the only real conservatives left in the race. I can't support Newt Gingrich so my support, as inconsequential as it may be (but all I have) is going to one of those good people.

Just to be safe, we better get as many Tea Partiers elected to Congress as possible as a hedge against a Gingrich or Romney Presidency.

I read one “H” of a lot primarily here at FR, and other than the repititious RINO sourced crap about “he can beat Obama” has any one of these Romneybots Krauthammer, Coulter, Will, Rubin, etc. made an argument as to why Romney should be President?

All I’ve seen really is blatherings against anyone running against Romney, and that statement of him being the only one able to beat Obama. It’s of course all BS.

I have yet to change my thinking on Romney as having bought, and paid for the nomination with the RINO leadership of the GOP. It sucks that can even be possible.
