Karen Harrington is also and she got 25k votes in 2010 (1st time DWS had an opponent). Not bad for purple gerry-mandered Broward county Florida.

Joe Kaufman would be a great Congressman and Florida district 22 would finally have someone great to represent them in Congress!
It is so true, that Debbie Wasserman Schultz has no ideas of her own. She only has Obama’s ideas! But she does keep her own name on the Congressional Directory. I looked up her name on the directory on Capitol Hill. I looked under Schultz, and it wasn’t there. Instead her office is listed under Debbie Wasserman.
The more I thought about her office being listed under Wasserman, I decided she must have done that so when Floridians from her district try to look her up in DC, they would have a harder time finding her.
District 20 I believe, but we get the point.

Joe is a great guy who has been fighting the good fight against Islamic terrorism for the past decade. He would make a great Congressman.
But this is going to be a tough race to win. The district is overwhelmingly Democratic. Last year’s Republican nominee, Karen Harrington, only got 38% of the vote despite that year’s anti-Democrat tide.
The district has a lot of Jewish voters, which certainly makes Joe a lot more electable than the other Republicans running.
