I will NEVER vote for that idiot moron Ronald Reagan. Did you know he used to be a democrat? So was he lying then or lying now?
Not only that HE WAS DIVORCED- can you believe that? How can we trust a man who can not hold his family together.
And do you know whe was a member of A UNION? Who wants another unions goon holding office.
And he was a FAILED actor. Who says he failed? why everyone in the media does.
And boy is he stupid- he thinks ketchup is a vegetable- the media made sure I knew that was him too.
And he increased taxes. He let the democraps tell him they would cut $1 of spending for every dollar tax increase. The democraps never cut the spending- but that's Reagans Fault too.
There you go again.
Not saying “I won’t vote for Newt,” but come on: Newt’s baggage is a lot more, and a lot worse, than Reagan’s ever was.
Don’t forget amnesty.
A) Mitt Romney is no Ronald Reagan.
B) I will write in “Sarah Palin” if he is the nominee.
And what about his nutty kids? Did you know his daughter posed for Playboy and votes Democrat?!!!
me too
The electronic voting machines in your area must have more options than the ones here.
In 1964 they told me that if I voted for Goldwater we’d have riots in the cities and half a million troops in Vietnam. They were right, I voted for Goldwater and we had riots in the cities and half a million troops in Vietnam.
Seriously, though. Reagan, it seems to me, was a lot more solid on principles than Newt or Romney ever were. Reagan made compromises with Democrats to achieve his limited goals, but he never embraced their positions as his own. Reagan spoke for a lot of Americans when he said “I didn’t leave the Democratic Party, they left me.”
My question about Pubbie candidates is: how able are they to dismantle the welfare state? How will they do when a national emergency occurs? Do they have the guts to make the hard choices? I don’t expect candidates to have perfect pasts. What I do expect is that if elected they will be able to lead the country and stay true to the spirit of the constitution as it was intended by the founders. That doesn’t mean I excuse everything they did in the past, it just means we can’t expect perfection. If Reagan ran today, doubtless there would be plenty on this forum against him.
Nice try! Smirk!
“Well, the trouble with our liberal friends is not that they’re ignorant; it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.”
Comparing Ronald Reagan’s unwanted divorce to Gingrich’s serial adultery is simply foul.
Then your vote will be for Obama. Good thinking.
It’s not a question of who you’ll vote for, it’s who you’ll get a chance to vote for. Big Gov’t, Big Bailouts, Globalist candidates are all you’re going to get from the RepubliCrat Party.
Might as well write Obama’s name in...
Hee hee... good one. The problem was not ENOUGH people voted for him.
In order to have another Reagan, we must first have another Carter.Obama is definitely another Carter, and then some... but Newt is no Reagan.
