I don’t imagine those 10-15 years will be too pleasant for a child molester, but your point is well taken.

Whatever. So having the police department controlled by irresponsible and amoral university leftists doesn’t raise a lot of questions in your mind? For goodness’ sake, there are a number of academics who are on a quest to get pedophilia legitimized in the culture (and almost certainly a large number of other academics who privately support them). Do you think their voices should be allowed to influence police enforcement?

And you think this ends with paterno?

No, I think this goes to the top. I'm starting to think that Spanier, Shultz, Curley, and maybe even the board were in on this thing. And I do know about the Madden rumors. That's why I think those higher-ups may have been involved.

Do know that Spanier is one of the most gay-friendly administrators around? Why did he say he unconditionally supported Curley and Shultz right before they were justifiably forced out? As an aside, Spanier has always struck me as a prevert (gay or pedophile), and I'm not the only one who has thought so.

This could be much worse than previously thought.

I think you’re judging him just on a gut feeling.

I have heard that other prison inmates look down on child molesters, and they are often targets of violence. There may indeed be at least some honor among thieves, as it were.

Is Paterno a Catholic? Was Sanducky Catholic? Doesn’t seem Masonic to me.

I posted on another thread the entire list of the State and Regional Boards for Second Mile.

It’s in the current copy of the annual report on their website.

This is an eye-opening read that reveals the size and scope of Second Mile as an organization.

HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of Pennsylvania children - all over the state - are involved in Second Mile programs.

If there is any pimping alleged - in any sort of way - through anyone involved formally or informally with Second Mile - PA LE should be putting a hold on referring children to that organization and issuing warnings post-haste and questioning everyone involved thoroughly, until the full extent of criminal or dangerous activity can be determined, IMHO.

The Second Mile annual report is on this page:

Thanks for the justified self-defense.

I suspect the whole story will take years to out, if at all.

Sandusky was banned from the campus after that incident.

No,he wasn't banned from the campus...his locker room keys were taken and he was warned not to bring kids onto the campus again. He still had access to the campus itself.

Sandusky was banned from the campus after that incident.

Basically he was told to go diddle boys somewhere else.

Sandusky was banned from the campus after that incident.

Not true. Sandusky was working out on campus up and till about a week ago. He was a professor emeritus with an office on campus and a $55K annual salary. No charges were pressed immediately after the 2002 incident. Six years passed before it was looked at again.

First off, I'm not defending anybodies actions/inactions in this mess. So I'm not sure what you are objecting to.

Second, the university police force is just that. The administrators who they report to might be liberal, multi-culti's, but the cops are professional. This is why nobody accepts the argument that Paterno's having informed Sr. VP Shultz equates to calling the campus police. Shultz was only an overseer of the campus police. He was not a law enforcement professional, nor was he in operational control of them.

Sandusky was not banned from the campus, at all, until last weekend.

Sandusky was banned from the campus after that incident.

Just stop it. Read before you keep posting on these threads.

They took away his keys to the football showers in 2002. He was told not to bring boys on campus and AD Curley's testimony in the GJ documents is that PSU had no way of enforcing that. He kept his emeritus status and was still in the campus directory until Sunday. He was in the Athletic building weight room late last week (not the 'student gym').
