Cain Must Confront Sex Harassment Issue By William J. Bennett, CNN Contributor November 7, 2011
William Bennett: Herman Cain should confront allegations of sexual harassmentHe says four women making such claims cannot be dismissed as insignificant If Cain is to be taken seriously, he needs to respond directly. Bennett says those who criticized Bill Clinton's behavior can't ignore issue
(CNN) -- When I became one of Bill Clinton's earliest and chief accusers for the sexual harassment charges against him, two things were eminently true about my motives: (a) I did not become an accuser because Bill Clinton was a Democrat and I was a Republican, I didn't care one whit what the partisan fallout would be; and (b) I spoke out because the charges were plentiful enough and serious enough (I repeat, charges, not facts) to degrade not only all of our politics but all of our country, and because there are certain codes of honor, written and unwritten, for all men, Democrat and Republican. Indeed I wrote a book on this, laying it out, even before we knew the full extent of Bill Clinton's lies.
It is hypocritical in the extreme for those members of the media who didn't take the charges and allegations against Bill Clinton seriously to be taking the allegations against Herman Cain that we now have as seriously as they are. Hypocritical is probably too soft a word, frankly. That said, Herman Cain and his campaign chief of staff, Mark Block, cannot go on as they have. There has been a pattern now that is both unhealthy for our politics and unhealthy for our polity.

Oh shut up Bennett, and go blow another 8 million gambling in Vegas, you hypocrite.
In other words, he needs to collaborate in his own self destruction.
Yeah that's the ticket!
When did you stop beating your wife, Bill?
Thanks, Bill, but I think I’ll wait until there’s a scintilla of evidence of wrongdoing before I change my opinion of Mr. Cain. Maybe if something had surfaced prior to him becoming a frontrunner, I’d be a little more receptive to the charges. Right now, it smacks of the 11th hour charges against Judge Thomas. I’m sure you can see the similarity and the motive.
I agree. He ended tonight on Jimmy Kimmel with a strong statement on the topic. A big presser where he calls this broad a lying whore and then says he will not further dignify anymore questions about the lie will show strong leadership.
This link will be a good clue about Sharon Bialek...

Just saw him on Kimmel show, the man is not ducking anything. He was forthright and didn’t let the allegations suppress his positive personality. I’m not so sure that he doesn’t already know that this story is about to blow up tomorrow. Apparently, this woman not only has a past but it includes sexual aggression on her part. It will be interesting. Herman’s got the guts to confront this head on, we need to have the fortitude to stand by him.
Oh, come on Bill. You never ever commented on the Bush 1 Franklin Cover-up...did you?
Where were you on the Virtue of that going on right below your stinking nose! Children and investigators killed? Huh, Bill.
Homosexuality, pederasty and pedophilia and child sacrifice and Satanism seem like a much bigger issue than petty “harassment”! Go do some REAL good for once.
What else are you supposed to do? What if you're innocent and a bunch of thugs keep dragging these bimbos to make false allegations against you??? Are you supposed to put your campaign on hold indefinitely while you respond to each and every one? Shut up Bennett.
Thanks for the link.
Bialek’s going down in flames. Hopefully she takes Allred with her.
Now they’ll trot out Girl #5 to distract and deflect.
What they did to Palin was just a practice run for what’s happening to Cain.
Mark Block doubletracked and the next day Cain doubled down.
Now Cain is done with that controversy, and done with the new allegations. He is done with the naggerhead slur too. He has revised his electric fence "that will kill you" to reflect Perry's actual position on border enforcement.
He is perpetually waving his hand and saying "I'm done with that" In the Lincoln/Douglas style debate with gingrich he was star struck by a question on Defined payment plans
Maybe you can get away with that as CEO, but not for long
Perry is DOA due to hispandering. Please just go away.
Do you deny what I say?
Ecactly. This is getting to the stupid point. The more the women the Dummies drag out before the cameras, the more I like Cain.
In 1998 I bought his Death of Outrage. I was underwhelmed.William Jefferson Clinton was foremost a traitor and should have faced treason charges.
The sex angle was the Democrats' default--so said our congressman in a call to me the December 1998 night of the day Clinton did what Leno called Operation Blow Monica off the Front Page.
But Bill is off the beam casting aspersions on Herman Cain--who will be exonerated (Sharon Bialek is a scam artist).
Bill Clinton raped Juanita Broaddrick ("put some ice on that")
Bill Clinton dropped trou and advised Paula Jones to "kiss it"
Bill Clinton had a serial appointment at Gennifer Flowers' apartment where he advised Hillary was a greater fan of a particular act than he
Bill Clinton groped Kathleen Willey in the Oval Office as her husband killed himself; later her tires were slashed, her cat killed ("are you getting the message")
Betsey Wright the lesbian in charge of bullying or buying the victims was an enforcer
Perhaps Mary Caitlan Mahoney was a victim (shot dead with a handful of fellow Starbucks employees for threatening to expose abuse of WH interns)
Brit Humes' son Sandy "committed suicide" after reporting on the Mahoney murder
There's more but the point is the media and the hypocrites such as Bennett, Hewett, Medved et al ought not smear a good man when they left standing a sex criminal who was also the highest level traitor (before Obama)
There's a great deal at stake--the survival of the Game in Washington which the Republicans and Democrats play with our money.
Hence a bipartisan interest in destroying Herman Cain.
Cain accused Perry of the same stuff he was trying to defend himself of.
Unsubstantiated allegations.
Perfection is the enemy of good. Your guy is far from perfect. Cain nor anyone else running is perfect. One of them is going to be running in the general, and your approach to this is not helping Perry or the conservative movement.
Cain is solid on the issues, and barring something big yet to break in all this false scandal, is a man of high character and many decades of great success. He is more than capable for the job. Perry is too, but he has fumbled and stumbled as as candidate. If he comes back from that, he has a chance, but your mission to attack other candidates isn’t helping at all.
The Gambler is trying to weasle back into the establishment.
They have NOTHING on Cain and they are trying to trash this man. I say bring it on!
