They are frantic and desperate.

As I postulated in during the presidential campaign 2007, the EU has spent itself into the ground and cannot be prevented from breaking up. This was clear to them by the end of 2006.

Everything they have done since then in North America and the Mideast, however risky or likely to fail has been done with an eye towards achieving what they can before the spectacular failure of socialism in Europe causes a backlash against socialism in general world wide.

That was my assessment then and I stand by it now. They frantically Hope to stay in power after the financial collapse of Europe by making their power sphere worldwide before then.

I am betting against their being able to pull it off.

They are racing to get their agenda fully implemented if possible before the country's political pendulum swings back too far to the right. The Constitution and Bill Of Rights are quaint abstract concepts to them.
