Former Secretary of State Madeline Albright, who served under President Clinton, attacked the embattled Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain for sexism during her appearance on Morning Joe this morning.
Noting that Cain had met with Cold Warrior and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger to discuss foreign policy, host Joe Scarborough asked Albright if she had met with Cain and how that meeting unfolded. It turns out, they haven't met.
"Well, he didn't call me," Albright said, "I'm the wrong gender." After taking that abrupt shot at Cain, Albright described what she would have told him had they met. "I think the greatest challenge [facing the United States] is our economy and our deficit, because I think it is a national security issue." She went on to discuss the interdependence of U.S. and European economies and to comment on the deficits overseas.

Unbelievable. She complains he didn’t seek her foreign policy advice but when asked what advise she would give she offered up domestic policy problems! Unreal. This woman is a disgrace.
Why seek her advice at all? Her greatest achievements: 1) Negotiating with and intervening on behalf of terrorists like the KLA and, 2) ignoring the advice of her diplomatic corps when they told her that the embassies in Nairobi and Tanzania were poorly secured and at risk of attack you just do nothing and let it get bombed.
One could argue that her bootlicking of the Bosnian Muslims (not saying they weren’t being abused but they were on our terror list until the NATO attack on Yugoslavia) plus the success of the embassy attacks may have been a factor in emboldening Al Queda to go for more. Our foreign policy under her watch was a disaster. They attacked us, we killed camels in the desert. No wonder they came after our towers in 2001. They saw how we turned into a paper-tiger, weak kneed appeasers. Under Clinton, We turned the PLO and the KLA into victims instead of terrorists - the latter under her watch as SOS - and did not respond effectively to numerous attacks against us. I think you can assign some fair measure of blame to her her.
