Upon being proven to have perjured himself before the House Government Affairs Committee, Attorney General Eric Holder did what any dedicated leftist would; he changed the subject and blamed someone else.
In a childish and petulant letter to his principle adversary, Darrell Issa, Holder accused the Republican congressman of cynical efforts to score political points and repeated his claim to have known nothing of Operation Fast and Furious in 2010.
But Issa would have none of the Attorney Generals bogus claims or pathetic excuses. In a masterpiece of typewritten homicide which has received far too little attention from conservative bloggersand of course NONE from the mainstream mediaIssa exposed Holders criminal activities and his lies and misrepresentations concerning Department of Justice involvement in Operation Fast and Furious.
With no trace of the professional courtesy or benefit of the doubt so often accorded one longtime inhabitant of D.C. by another, Issa pointedly accused Holder of deliberately undermining the [Fast and Furious] investigation by offering a roving set of ever-changing explanations to justify its (DOJ) involvement.
And Issa rightly stated that, in shifting blame for the Operations shortcomings from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) to the Phoenix US Attorneys Office, Holders efforts were designed to circle the wagons around DOJ and its political appointees.
Of Holders letter itself, the congressman made it clear the Attorney General had done little but obfuscate, shift blame, berate and attempt to change the topic from the [DOJ's] responsibility in the creation, implementation and authorization of this reckless program (Fast and Furious.)
Of course that was obviously Holders intent. But rarely has a D.C. Republican had the courage to make such an unequivocal charge and call out a radical leftist for his blatant dishonesty and contempt for the American public.

Is that all? Hell, Zero does all of that every day...before noon...without his teleprompter.
Can POTUS pardon you from a state crime?
No 2012 elections? Take your meds.
“Issa is a politician, therefore he bears careful watching. “
Wholeheartedly agree.
I am impressed with evidence such as this; but this back-and-forth has been going on for a long time. If Holder had been a Republican he would have long ago been strung up like Scooter Libby. Doubts, doubts, doubts! I just don’t think, that when the chips are down, Issa will have the stones to see that anybody that really matters at DOJ actually receives true justice! I hope I’m wrong.

Actually, it’s reportedly John Boehner who is not permitting Issa & Co to go forward with perjury charges against Bill Newell, for example. He’s the gutless wonder keeping the Obama Regime in business! Imagine how quickly Newell would roll on Hussein, Holder and others!! Incredible, but that’s the story.
Thanks Oldpuppymax.
The media once again NOT front and center on this as usual...eff you media.
LOL!
ping for later
Does the name Horiuchi mean anything to you?
Ruby Ridge
Someone needs to find out what Issa is putting in his coffee and see that it’s put in the coffee of invertebrate Republican congress critters, beginning with Boehner and McConnell.
Nope...

What Lurker was getting at, I think, was the fact that Horuichi *did* successfully dodge a murder beef, when he should have been tired, and convicted in an Idaho *state* court for the death of Vicki Weaver...

Be careful what you wish for.
Witch hunts for previous administrations and suspended elections.
Both of those actions are the hallmark of Banana Republics.
Remember how dangerous it was to nearly have these idiots criminalize Bush staffers for warcrimes? Do you really want to get into the mode where each successive administration prosecutes the previous one for crimes?
If a Republic truly cannot police itself through duly executed checks and balances as is, then elections don't have much meaning anyway.
Throwing the bums out would be as effective a rebuke and correction for the Republic as any other remedy.
But not prosecuting emboldens the next lot...and so on...
