Good heavens, no, I'm not a Mormon. I'm sorry Saundra, but the Mormon mythology of Semites living in pre-Columbus America, of J Smith stuffing his head in a hat to read some gold plates and even being able to run with them (mighty heavy stuff, gold) and then the entire fake "Reformed Egyptian", "Book of Abraham" (now that IS funny -- passing off the Egyptian book of the Dead as Abraham's!) etc just makes Mormon stuff sillier than Scientology and provably false by proof without even having to point out the gaping holes in philosophy
However, Scoutmaster, I do think that Beck is correct that the NYTimes as a news rag shouldn't be running something like the Dowd column.

I do think that Beck is correct that the NYTimes as a news rag shouldn't be running something like the Dowd column. Except that Beck wants religion to return to a more public activity. That would have to include want he does not like; else be considered a bit of censorship; albeit self-imposed.
