Occupy Wall Street got some more star power on Friday as music legends Pete Seeger and Arlo Guthrie joined the demonstrators in their march to the upper West Side.
Using a walker and wearing a red-knit cap, the 92-year-old Seeger marched from Symphony Space to Columbus Circle.
The Associated Press reported he shouted out the protest anthems along with the crowd of about 1,000 people.

I couldn't believe that those two were still alive. After looking at the photo, I'm still not so sure

Kinda funny. If you had asked anyone in that photo who the Koch brothers are 18 months ago, I doubt any of them could have told you.

I met Mr. Seeger last year, he was completely there in mental capacity, though he drifted all over the place in our short conversation. He still gets on stage each summer for his Hudson River benefit concert, and does a little speech/singsong routine.

I doubt any of them could tell you today, other than "they are evil capitalists."

I doubt many of them could tell you
right now. ...other than..."uh, uh....they're right-wing billionaires." Hell, most can't even articulate why they're protesting in the first place.
What funny is that view themselves as anti-establishment types like the '60s radicals, but in this case the entire establishment is supporting them -- the President, the various city councils, the mainstream media, etc. Probably doesn't even register.

The socialist, Guthrie, is supposed to play at our local school. All the liberal scum will be there to watch.

I have found that they are
active in more than just politics. The
David R. Koch Institute has been very active in cancer research. In short, if these protestors manage not to kill themselves off through their own stupidity, they are very likely going to benefit from the Koch brothers work.

Still milking "Alice's Restaurant" although 9/10 protestors had never heard it.
