Herman Cain, the former CEO of Godfather's Pizza, is on the rise in the 2012 Republican presidential field. We shouldn't pay attention to the polls just yet, but most of them show Cain ahead of or close to Mitt Romney. Is Herman Cain the anti-Romney candidate that we have been looking for? He might be. Herman Cain has been able to raise $2 million in 2 weeks! That is incredible! If he continues putting up these numbers, he is going to be tough to beat!
One of the reasons Herman Cain is on the rise is because of Texas Governor Rick Perry's blunders. Perry's terrible debate performances and recent attacks by the liberal media have damaged his candidacy. Perry's poll numbers have dropped to the low teens to under 10%! Herman Cain has taken advantage of Perry's downfall by articulating his 9-9-9 tax reform plan. The 9-9-9 plan takes away all of the federal taxes and replaces them with a 9% corporate tax, 9% income tax, and 9% sales tax. We will dissect his plan in the near future. Herman Cain also has never run for office. He has a strong record of business experience that our country desperately needs.
This past Sunday, Herman Cain was on Meet the Press with liberal David Gregory. It's nice to see that a liberal didn't try to paint Cain as someone who hated African Americans and skipped the draft for the Vietnam War. I still cannot get over how repulsive the interview socialist Lawrence O'Donnell gave to Herman Cain. Back on subject, Herman Cain is finally the one who has the guts to say that the liberals are destroying the country on purpose. Cain states, "The objective of the liberals is to destroy this country. It is their mission. Because they do not believe in a stronger America, in my opinion. Yes."
The Tea Party needs to make a decision soon about who is the anti-Romney candidate. Is it Herman Cain, Rick Perry, or someone else? Herman Cain seems to be the guy. If he remains one of the top tier candidates in the polls by late November, he has a great chance of winning the nomination. However, Herman Cain cannot win without full Tea Party support. When the Tea Party states that they cannot endorse, this is false. They were instrumental in the victories of Senators Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Pat Toomey, Ron Johnson, and Mike Lee. Now, the Tea Party needs to step it up and endorse the right anti-Romney candidate to represent the Republican ticket in 2012. America cannot afford someone who represents Wall St. and big corporations. It is a long campaign and anything can happen, so who will be the anti-Romney candidate? Time is running out!
If true, this is great news and shows he is capable of staying competitive in the money race.
Herman Cain is the anti-Obama candidate!!!!
This POStulating is pure propoganda.
Romney might be the nicest guy in the world - I really don’t know. But I know how he makes me feel. He feels like a used car salesman. There is some kind of beneath the surface sleaziness that just feels wrong. It is pure instinct but I do not want him to be the candidate.
I was going for Cain until his comment on the electric fence. He lost my vote. He can no longer claim to be pro life, can he?
Nice Try Perrybot.
What was Rick Perry doing in 1993?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_Perry#Early_political_career
In 1993, Perry, while serving as Texas agriculture commissioner, expressed support for the Clinton health care reform proposal, describing it as “most commendable.” The health care plan was ultimately unsuccessful due to Republican congressional opposition.[23][24][25][26][27] In 2005, after being questioned on the issue by a potential opponent in the Republican governor primary, Perry said that he expressed his support only in order to get Clinton to pay more attention to rural health care.[28]
Surprised that you could pull your head out of Perry’s arse long enough to make that claim.
Nice try.
He’s the conservative anti-obama that Romney will never be.
My God, are you serious?? Do you advocate the water bubblers in the desert too, so the invaders don’t die of thirst?
There are electric fences on most agricultural properties. They keep the livestock in or out and are not generally fatal to humans.
Voltage varies.
Do you think I would ever vote for Perry for President? Not in a million years.
I have never said one thing that was supportive of a Perry presidency, nor will I. Perish the thought. Cain was my choice until he made that comment. My Texas vote is not the only Texas vote he lost with it.
There are electrified fences around nuclear facilities, Area 51, etc.
There are terrorists crossing our border; yes, he is pro-life; he is for protecting the lives of American citizens.
You made me laugh. Electric fences kill people? Funny my dad used them all the time to keep cattle and horses in, as kids we got stung a bunch when we forgot the fence was hot. Just think- they sell these people killers at every farm/ranch supply.
I also think it is far more fair and accurate to describe Herman Cain as the Conservative alternative, rather than the Anti-Romney.
There is no shortage of RINOs (Rick Perry is the poster boy) jockeying to be the Anti-Romney.
There is no shortage of Marxists (BO is the poster boy) who are even more Anti-Romney than the alternative RINO flavors.
Hey sodpoodle. Nice to see you. It has been a long time. Hope you are well. And yes. I am a country girl. I know all about electric fences. The voltage is not fatal. He specifically said these would be fatal. Again, good to see you.
That is in no way ever the definition of pro life and you and I both know it.
