What was Rick Perry doing in 1993?

In 1993, Perry, while serving as Texas agriculture commissioner, expressed support for the Clinton health care reform proposal, describing it as “most commendable.” The health care plan was ultimately unsuccessful due to Republican congressional opposition.[23][24][25][26][27] In 2005, after being questioned on the issue by a potential opponent in the Republican governor primary, Perry said that he expressed his support only in order to get Clinton to pay more attention to rural health care.[28]
I also think it is far more fair and accurate to describe Herman Cain as the Conservative alternative, rather than the Anti-Romney.
There is no shortage of RINOs (Rick Perry is the poster boy) jockeying to be the Anti-Romney.
There is no shortage of Marxists (BO is the poster boy) who are even more Anti-Romney than the alternative RINO flavors.
Perry provided Billy Jeff the cigars.
I’ve asked this question before and never got an answer and you, MNJohnnie, might be the person to answer it for me (I guess I could look it up, but I’m lazy):
A few years ago I saw posted here on FR a youtube clip of someone arguing with Commissar Barbara Boxer of the Peoples Republic of California, a black businessman arguing with her on the subject of “green jobs”. She was her normal disgusting putrid self, didn’t listen to anything the businessman was saying and kept dumping “reports” into the “congressional record” about how much “green employment” there now was in California.
I didn’t know of Herman Cain back in those days and now I’m wondering, is that who I saw arguing with that pig b*tch boxer? Was that Herman Cain?
Whoever it was did a magnificent job against a totally stacked deck of being interrupted all the time and having every one of his points “refuted” by yet another so-called “document” being entered into the “congressional record”, without an ounce of reasoning coming from the boxer b*tch.
