Congressman to Holder: We're not interested in 'Kumbayah,' drop your 'rhetoric,' resign immediately
The Daily Caller ^ | October 8, 2011 | Matthew Boyle

Posted on 10/08/2011 1:25:46 PM PDT by matthewreporter

Rep. Paul Gosar jabbed back at Attorney General Eric Holder after he swiped at him and other congressional Operation Fast and Furious investigators in a late Friday letter. Gosar also added his name to the short but growing list of those in Congress calling for the attorney general’s immediate resignation.

“It [Holder’s letter] is rhetoric. I think it’s funny that that’s the heat we take now when we’re in the focus of hearings and the focus of calls for his resignation,” Gosar told The Daily Caller. “[He says] ‘ooh, we want to sing Kumbayah and bring everybody together so that we can diffuse that.’ It’s also interesting that he and leadership in the Justice Department didn’t really exercise that in Arizona by reaching out and really trying to work on issues – they just continue to dictate accordingly.”

“We’ve seen this over and over again – accused of political posturing that the administration is really guilty of,” Gosar added. “It’s false rhetoric.”

Don’t call for resignation, call for prosecution.

It’s only through prosecution that Holder will give up the goods on Obama’s involvement, and it’s both Obama AND Holder that this country needs to get rid of, ASAP.

Resign? He should be indicted.

Once a prosecution begins (like that’s gonna happen) how fast do you think Ubama will issue a pardon for Eric The Red?

I’m thinking nanoseconds.

Amen to that. Resignation means nothing. Jail time is what is rightfully deserved...also for his idiot teleprompter-reading boss.

Make it clear that anyone connected with this Fast and Furious or Castaway or any other operation like it will not be given a pass or chance to resign. People who were involved and don’t come forward are going to do hard time or get the needle for murder. Hard time is minimum of 10 years with no parole in the general prison population. Or, we can turn you over to the Mexican government for prosecution under their law. Choose wisely.

Worst possible scenario {almost}:

Holder resigns, all other co-conspirators lay low ‘till the heat blows over.

The multi-tentacled monster is still intact and awaits the perfect moment to arise again.

There are probably DOZENS that should be jailed for this.

Not if Obama is immediately jailed and replaced for being unable to Constitutionally carry out his duties. He’s actually never been able to Constitutionally carry out his duties because of the 20th Amendment, but if he was in jail there would be no denying that he is unable to do so.

Of course, Joe Biden would probably just pardon them both...

That’s why AP and rooters will not report this. Holder goes down, Odumbo will get dragged too.

Eric is wanted by several states, both in the United States and Mexico, and by the Mexican national government.

Obama's power to pardon does not extend to any of those parties.

Eric's best bet is, of course, to surrender to Mexico first since they don't officially exercise the death penalty. He probably ought to take some quick Spanish lessons while he can because he will need that language in prison.

Prosecution has only so much value. Waterboarding is much more likely to generate the truth in real time.

The problem with your idea is this: Just who the hell do we have in DC that has the Constitutional Fortitude and BALLS to take Ubama into custody?

Boehner?

McConnell?

Who?

I don’t see it happening.

Holder has been implicated in the demise of Ron Brown and a plane load of other people. Also of course Waco. And possibly Fort Marcy Park. He was Clinton’s “fixer”.

You would make a very poor politician — you’re trying to get to the truth and you want justice.

How foolish.
