I need a PDF converter quickly.Does anyone know where I can download a free one online;or a legit one to buy online that is good and not filled with spam extras and garbage? How about ADOBE 10 if I have it is there a converter in this program?
Thanks ahead for your replies.
primo is great.
I have a question: I don’t want to spend $ for their ‘stapler” - I need free program that puts single pdf’s into
series (’stapled’)-anyone?
There’s a million of them at Download.com and TuCows. I use PDF Redirect. Most of the free ones install as printers, so you “print” your document to it and a PDF comes out the other side.
I have an Epson all-in-one printer/scanner/copier that will scan multiple text or grapic documents and save them directly to multi-page PDF files.
It was a dud with garbage.it asked for username and password.I will go try office.I am just having a brain fart because I had surgery mon. and am on percocet LOL sorry.
I use deskPDF. I don’t think it is free.
Microsoft WORD will do that easily........
Try to find older versions of PrimoPDF. Like 3.0 It kept getting worse the more upgrades they did.
I’m drawing a blank on where I find older versions of shareware.
Just insert the images into a blank document or is there a simpler way?
I just went and checked it out to make sure. I have MS Word 2007. You open a blank document, click on INSERT, the PICTURE. Then find the pics you want to insert, adjust them to fit the page as necessary, one or more to a page if they fit, then simply SAVE AS and select PDF as the format, then voila! You have a single PDF with all the pics you put in. Also, you can ADD more pics later...........
Useful. I don’t need that function often, but it will come in handy.
On my better days, that solution would have occurred to me.
On the ADD part, you have to save the original doc as a non-PDF file if you want to add later pics......
bkmk for the good info
I use Monarch here at work.
Any time I quickly want a good, free program I check out sourceforge.net
It is home to tons of open source software and it has a search function for finding what you need. There are also reviews of previous downloaders for each choice.
What do you mean by “converter?” Do you mean you want to be able to save documents to pdf?
If that’s the case, I’m a fan of Pdf Redirect v2, which is basically a a printer driver that prints to pdf files, so it works with any Windows app.
Mark
Are you talking about making something into a .pdf or something else? My computer came with printing software that makes anything into a .pdf if you want it to do that.
Thank you.Thanks to all!
Did you get your PDF file?.......
