I didn’t send in a vote because I was off line for most of the week, but I’d put in for Cain too.

He’d do a magnificent job as President and he’s a honorable man. Please consider donating once or on a monthly basis. He’s the real deal, folks!

I think it would impact a lot of voters.

Didn't work for them with Reagan. Easy fix, Cain picks a really solid young VP. The GOP has tons of them West, Rubio, Rand Paul, etc

Such a whisper campaign did not work against Reagan.

Cain-West is Andrew Breitbart’s desire by the way. Not sure if it is his first pick of all combinations, but he has talked about this ticket as a way to “shoot cultural marxism and political correctness in the head.”

Cain Rubio or Cain Rand Paul? We could do a helluva lot worse!

And for any number of reasons, I am sure Cain probably would pick a young VP unless he went with someone on foreign policy like Bolton. Well, ok, unless he went with Bolton, because there’s no one else quite like him.

It would be one of those two scenerios - Bolton or a young buck. The odds are against it, but fun to think about.

“Then you are not looking.”

Unfortunately, I’m looking beyond his jobs & economy ideas and there’s not much there.

Cain/Rubio IMHO are UNBEATABLE. Both come from humble beginnings. Both have little to no baggage. Both are amazingly articulate honest focused and speak from their heart. We have got to stop the MSM train of Romney Perry. All Cain needs is face time and money. Heaven equals an Obama Cain debate. Can you imagine a debate between Biden and Rubio ?

If you try actually listening to Cain instead of letting the Junk Media tell you what to think you would know that your assessment of him is nonsense.

Hi ALL, James and I just got back to our hotel a little bit ago and just saw this thread, Ken.

Sending out a FL Freeper ping to see the results. James and I did not attend as delegates so could not vote in the straw poll...that is why we are back to our hotel at this time. Will tell you if I had been able to vote, it would have been for Herman Cain. I now have a sign for my truck!

Newt may be making a comeback or sorts.

If those are the results, then Rick Perry is a shoo-in. The first three don’t have a chance at the nomination. Seems voters voted only on the debate.

If I was making my opinion of him based on the junk media, I wouldn’t want him for VP either.
IOW - I have listened to him, and just don’t think he’s ready to be Pres.

Just listen to Herman Cain’s speach of today at Presidency-5 and you will see why he won the straw poll. It was not folks voting on the debate. During the debate, Cain did not get a chance to talk about his stands on all the issues, mainly due to the fuss going on between Perry and Romney.
