Having an extensive background in the NAV and knowing some of the “players” who backed this, I have been sick to my stomach over this repeal...
the dynamics of military service will be changed forever and NOT for the good of the country, IMO.
The PC “leaders” of our military who went along with this should always be reminded of their culpability...
Time will tell if I’m right - if I’m not, so be it...

I don't care what homosexuals do as long as it is private, however, we are sacrificing our fighting ability on the altar of political correctness.

I guess we can crag out "In the Navy" by "The Village people and finally use it as a recruitment song. B-P

Maybe I'm wrong here but the way things are going, if I had a kid who wanted to join the military, I would discourage him/her from doing so. I'd rather see him/her in one of the unorganized militias like the Ohio Militia and so on.

Let the lawsuits begin.

The next time some Drill Sergeant (or whatever the Naval equivalent is) questions some recruits manhood during boot camp (or womanhood as the case may be), he (or she) is going to get slapped with a hate crime charge.

Anchors aweigh.

I'm all for gays serving openly in the U.S. military.

In fact, I think we should show the enemy how tolerant and accepting we are by posting all-gay checkpoints about a mile in front of all heterosexual checkpoints.

And just to make sure the enemy is able to identify the checkpoints as being manned by homosexuals, they should fly the rainbow flag and the troops should all be dressed as Corporal Klinger.

Take that, terrorists! HA!

It will be interesting to see which Service has the best cornhole team when play begins at all military installation soon.

To help you keep score, here are the rules:

Yet there are already 3 times as many homosexual rapes in the US military as there are heterosexual rapes.

Let’s see what happens when all the homosexuals start getting promoted over everyone else and start forcing themselves on their subordinates.

Supposedly this was posted as a "know thine enemy" article but the original poster, flowerplough, has never posted a condemnation of homosexuals in the military that I've ever read. Longtermmemmory doesn't think this is a true story; because the officer in question would have also been breaking the law. Looks and smells to me like pure propaganda.

what utter crap. i served and joined in 86, in a combat unit and served years and I can tell you from then to today I know of not one vet or one marine or combat soldier who wants to share bunks, share showers, share room, share jobs or share sleeping bags during survival training. Now if this crap is on FOX then it does not surprise me as the like of Megyn kelly and the rest of the pro homo crowd minus probably Eric Bolling , steve Doocy. shove their pro cross dressing pro homo, crap out all the time. BTW I talked to a pal who has served over 20 years and is based in Kabul for the last nearly a year, H e has served everywhere there has been a war and now he is leaving and now going to a private security unit to Libya My sons are now not joining either and I will be th elast in generations to have served and see what the pro cross dressing pro homo crowd has done They are taking good marines , good special forces etc away now. so my message to these perverts who need mental help. FU I will not rest until we get back to sanity and I will not stop trying to get us back to hwo it was

My observations on the end of DADT:

I believe that there are gays and lesbians who want to serve their country and who do not want to make an issue over their sexuality. That is essentially what DADT allowed.

Will homosexual service members who don't want to "come out" be pressured or shamed for staying in the closet by their homosexual brethern?

Homosexual leaders and activists who hate the military are more excited about this news than the homosexuals who are actually serving in the military.

There will not be much of an increase in the number of homosexuals who join the military.
