Teachers are branding thousands of children racist or homophobic following playground squabbles.
More than 20,000 pupils aged 11 or younger were last year put on record for so-called hate crimes such as using the word gaylord.
One youngster was accused of being racist for calling a boy broccoli head and another was said to be homophobic for telling a teacher this work is gay.
Two primary school children were reported for homophobia after quarrelling over a rubber and calling each other gay and lesbian.
Those youngsters reported for petty offences at nursery classes included four in the London borough of Tower Hamlets and three in Hertfordshire.
In total, 34,000 nursery, primary and secondary pupils were effectively classed as bigots because of anti-bullying rules.
The school can keep the pupils name and crime on file.
The record can be passed from primaries to secondaries or when a pupil moves between schools.

Watched that movie about a week ago. Exactly what I was thinking about when I read the story.
The only thing to do is for parents to instruct their children to call their classmates anything they want. The paperwork alone will crash the system, and then every kid in England can be a bigot and in the same boat.
I feel really sorry for England today. I don’t know what happened to them.
LOL!!!!!!
England was once a great Nation. Now because of homo and muslim PC nonsense it becoming a 3rd rate Nation sinking into the hell hole
If these teachers went to the same High School that I went to, in MD, than their heads would explode. Calling something or somebody “gay” was a good amount of what you would hear at my High School. Of course, I wonder what the teachers would say when they hear that people using that word are actually using it in place of “dumb”.
I also wonder how many toddlers even know what racism and homophobia(which is the incorrect usage of such a word) is. I didn’t even know about those two terms until I was not a toddler anymore.
Delicious and nutritious.
Even though you are right about Western civilization...being on the “downhill side” of your time on this rock, doesn’t necessarily mean that you will be in “coast” mode for the remainder of it. God-willing, it WILL be for you...but it also shouldn’t be overlooked, that the days ahead may require more than what those on the “downhill side” may, or may not have left, to endure it with.
Definitely agree.
I’m very happy and fortunate to have lived the first half of my life during some of the last good years it seems.
I really do expect the latter half is going to hold some things I can’t even imagine.
I don’t know how much I can actually endure, I’ve got a bum ticker. But God willing, I’ll have the chance to die fighting.
Come on, who hasn’t heard the name-calling like metal-mouth or railroad tracks for braces, or four-eyes for wearing glasses, or how many other names called, seriously, I laugh at most of these names I was called in retrospect.
Calling something or somebody gay was a good amount of what you would hear at my High School. Of course, I wonder what the teachers would say when they hear that people using that word are actually using it in place of dumb.
In middle school, it was the same way, but it was usually given as an incentive. They usually referred to you as a fag for being a whiny wimp who cried for some big person to come and help you out, while being provocative at the same time.
I went through friggin hell in High school for the first two years, I mean it was really bad. Grammar school was fine, but high school...Good God.
Name calling and bullying was just relentless until one day, my main nemesis got his a$$ kicked by me in front of all his friends.
After the initial pummeling, dude said “you’re dead after school, DEAD!” So I said you ain’t even gonna make it to after school, and then I beat him some more.
That was the end of it all, no one even reported me to the teachers :D
I few years later I ran into him in a restroom somewhere in the French Quarter, surprisingly, he was as nice as he could be, as if we had been friends all along.
I don’t really know what the point of my telling that story is, other than I like to tell it, oh and kids are frickin’ merciless!
