Modica sums it up nicely in that sentence and GM has a very steep uphill climb to disprove it.
Ping.
Article link bad, try this one:

Bad link, jazusamo.
Very nice recovery shot on the links. heh heh
302 units?
I think that there may be a new EDSEL in the making................
Even Obama’s Labor Secretary Solis bought an SUV (like the ones Obama says can’t make a profit) instead of the Volt, which apparently are only for those who are not friends-of-Obama.
No way.
In 1959 Ford sold about 45,000 Edsels.
Be fair.
You can't even come close to comparing the two. The Volt is a sales disaster of biblical proportions.
I read here last week that the Cadillac division of GM is putting out their own version of the Volt. I predict that it won’t sell.
Most of Connecticut has been without electric power for 4 days. I had trouble just finding a gas station with power to get gas. I can’t wait to see how Volt will fare when the power goes off.
A Cadillac Volt? Well, if you’re going to sit on the side of the road, sit in luxury.
There’s been no official word from GM on the Cad Volt pricing but an article a couple weeks ago cited a GM employee estimating a price of about $57K.
That would have to be a base price so if it’s true it would put it up around $65K or more off the lot with extras and other charges.
I have seen exactly one. It was sitting dust covered on a dealer’s lot.
I was thinking of sneaking back after dark and tying a long extension cord to it and post a “New improved range model” sign on the windshield. I am sure there is no hurry, that turkey will surely still be there come Thanksgiving.
Here’s what one idiot on Democratic Underground just posted:
“If we just progressively outlaw all personal transportation beyond bikes
and increase public transportation in myriad ways, not only will we have jobs growth but perhaps we can save the planet. We need to evolve as a species and put to rest our love of the automobile. Phase them out over 10 years, except for cabs, buses, trains, and perhaps planes. “
The Volt’s battery pack is estimated to cost about $10000. ...
enuff said?
Then the DUmmie went outside and got in his mom’s gremlin to drive to the video store.
They're of the same crowd that believe we'll have to start eliminating people to save the planet but it seems they're never the ones to be first to volunteer.
Liberalism is definitely a mental disease.
