High level Iowa Republicans tell TheIowaRepublican.com that Sarah Palin will fly to New Hampshire following her September 3rd appearance in central Iowa.
Speculation has been swirling about whether or not Palin will use her Iowa appearance in Iowa over Labor Day weekend to join the field of Republican candidates. The news that Palin is New Hampshire bound after her Iowa speech will only add to the speculation that she may be entering the Republican presidential field.
>> “Nor Do I hate Perry” <<
.
You don’t have to hate Perry to know that he is wrong in every way possible.
He is far worse than Romney, because of the fools that believe him; if he’s in America is out.
There's always room for a support act.
If she is coming to Manchester, NH, why that is only about a half hour up the highway from where I live and I will definitely be there to see our next president.
>> “My only claim is that I supported her, on this forum, before that announcement” <<
.
I remember that. - At the time i thought that you supported her cuz she was a cutie. - Boy was I wrong.

He doesn’t have a stetson, his hat looks like a checkered ice cream cone.
And what will you do if she ends up in the White House? She has the same chance as everyone else. Many, many things could happen to think anyone is going to make a b-line to the WH. Whoever the nominee is (unless it’s someone with ONLY congressional/senatorial experience...too much like 0bama) can beat him soundly, especially if that person has positive attitude, projects a true love of country and has real solutions to the problems we’re having. I have reservations about Perry just like you have reservations about Palin, but if he’s the nominee I will enthusiastically support him because getting 0bama out of the WH is the most important thing. Well, replacing him with Mitt would be just like electing his white half so I’d rather not have that be my choice.

You may not like or agree with what Attemis Webb wrote, but it was obviously very well thought out and, unlike yours, was not ad hominem. Indeed, your very post makes one of his points.
As I’ve been saying all along, until Palin gets in, we’ve been watching the warm up bands. Everybody knows that they wanted Palin to take on Obama in the last election’s debates. Now, she won’t be muzzled and hamstrung. And guess what? Obama now has a record. She will eat his sorry butt alive.
bump...
Glad Sarah is a bit closer in Arizona. Sure makes the world a much more interesting place ;-D.
Don’t be disappointed if you don’t hear an announcement on 9-3. She may stay a non-candidate through NH and maybe SC before announcing just before the CNN/TEA Party Express debate on 9-12.
The woman is a complete joy to watch as she manuvers the battle field! Nobody knows her next stragic move...but when she moves the medias eyes, the candidates eyes, and pretty much everyone, including those opposing her, as well those sitting on the fence... wait to see what she will say or do. Soooo that....they can rejoice and clap, or trip her up, or get a story. It doesn’t matter she takes the stage and they watch...and watch...and listen.
In my life I’ve not seen a politician manuver and out manuver as Palin does. Striking ability to outwit and out do any who attempt to “discover” her out.
So imagine how she will operate in Washington! Let alone on the Internationl Stage..... When she takes this amazing skill with her it will be highly significant and effective!
LOL! I was wondering if anyone would notice that.
I think I get your point; you want her to run, lose and fade...
You're in the ballpark but not quite right.
I want her to run, lose and have a happy life. That way I will no longer have to listen to the endless and unavoidable claims from her worshipers here on FR that she cannot be defeated at the polls and that her presidency is ordained by God.
Perfect analysis.
I admit I spend too much time saying she’s unelectable, even if it’s true. I do like her, though.
The fact is, she’s old news. The unwashed masses that decide elections (swing voters) have already decided they don’t like her, and while it’s one thing to turn around a 5 or even 10 pt deficit and win, it’s another entirely when that deficit is 15 to 20 points or more. If she’s the nominee, it won’t be 1980, it’ll be 1964, with Palin playing a more attractive Goldwater, and Obama playing LBJ with a tan.
However, if Perry is the nominee, it WILL be more like 1980, (esp if someone like Hillary or even Huntsman ran third-party) IMHO, although probably not as much of a landslide, since there is a larger number of people now than in ‘80 who wouldn’t vote for a Republican even if Satan himself were the Democrat nominee. Still, I think he can break 300 EV’s at least. Perry is not 100% conservative, but he’s the most conservative guy running with a better-than-average chance of beating Obama, and has a record to run on. He’ll have to amend his message a bit (offer solutions to SS instead of just calling it a Ponzi scheme, lest he scare the boomers and over-65 crowd), but he “gets it” like Reagan did, in the sense that he can thread the needle - appeal to the base and the Tea Partiers, but is acceptable to the moderates and independents.
Although I am first and foremost a Herman Cain guy, I’ve come to the conclusion that he just won’t make it. I’d love to see him as head of the Fed though.
Do we have challenges? Yes, of course. Obama still polls in the 40s against Perry and Romney, and the Tea Party and the Right are being trashed harder every day. This notion that the Congressional Black Caucus is telling people the Tea Party wants them swinging in a tree will backfire, though, as far as I’m concerned.
I'll see your coals and raise you 10 miles of broken glass! If she runs, she will be the nominee and the next POTUS. I know what all the nay-sayers are saying, but she said if she gets in she will be "in it to win it" and I believe her. She has a long history of being underestimated and had McCain's team unleashed her McCain would have won!
You mean Obama?
You must, since that's who you'll have if Palin is the nominee.
If Perry wins, we'll have another fake conservative, promising us things to get our votes, then governing as a moderate, open borders squish like W.
Sorry, that's who your guy is, so deal with it.
