Ron Paul - Neo-Liberal
Unless he decides to run as an Independent there’s nothing to worry about. His chances of winning the GOP nomination are the same as they are in every election he enters — zero. Sure he makes a lot of noise and his supporters get very excited and spam our FReepmail, but that’s the extent of it.
I’ve spoken to a lot of Ron Paul supporters all over the net. They have a really big jewhate problem.
bump
Ron Paul attacks conservatives more than he attacks liberals.
stuff like this brings to mind some of those old granny tales as to your resulting state of mind if ya got overly enthusiastic in certain “habits”...of course, that was back in the pre-hippy/druggie days, so most of you won’t know what...never mind...
Ron Paul is a right-wing Leftist (aka RINO) and a Leftist by any other name is still a Leftist.
This article suggests a brilliant strategy for Republicans. Nothing is so effective in demoralizing an imperfect constituency like the libertarians as ridicule, disrespect, and sophistry to discredit their political ideology. Libertarians need to understand that there is no place for them in the Republican Party, and that Republican candidates do not want their votes.
In a two-party political system it is absolutely essential to alienate any constituency that does not align perfectly with the platform of your party. Even if that fraction comprises 14% of the electorate and has historically voted for Republicans. Even if Reagan said, “I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism,” and “The person who agrees with you 80 percent of the time is a friend and an ally - not a 20 percent traitor,” and “Thou shalt not speak evil of another Republican”. Libertarian-leaning voters need to understand that it ain’t your grandfather’s Republican Party any more, and they aren’t welcome or wanted.
Dude! You crazy and off yo' meds!
I never seriously thought about voting for Ron Paul until I caught your piece with all that stupid, unfunny RuPaul and s/he stuff.
Maybe you should sit this one out before you create a Ron Paul landslide.
No worries. Ron Paul supporters rarely vote except in internet polls.
You should apologize for posting it. It's nothing but a bunch of unsubstantiated name calling that sounds like he was drunk when he wrote it. Trackbacks on that article? Zero. Should tell you something.
Your blog argument that Ron Paul is a socialist is about as weak as a 100 year-old woman with crippling arthritis.
