A Vote For Ron Paul Is A Vote For The Left
Townhall ^ | 8/27/11 | Alan Levy

Some of my regular readers will wonder why I'm wasting my time with Ron Paul. After all, ol' RuPaul is nothing but a piker, and our eyes should be on the prize--- the White House in 2012. This would be a fair assessment----if one only looks at the small picture.

I am fighting for the soul of the Conservative Movement. I'm heading off RuPaul and his cyberstormtroopers at the pass before they irrevocably damage the Movement. If the Conservative Movement is destroyed, all hope is lost. The Republic will not survive. It's that simple. It's that cut and dried.

We’ll have to agree to disagree.

LOL. I’m sorry. I missundersood your sarcasm.

It would be foolish if the loudmouth name-callers in the GOP ran off all the Ron Paul supporters. That would be even dumber than nominating John McCain.

Gee. How CAN he help the unnah. Maybe by going on iranian tv and trashing the USA and Israel, not to mention leaking top secret intelligence.

Blimp bought, paid for by stormfront. Maybe you should do your homework...or did you know this already?

>>>Have you actually been on a Ron Paul website?<<<

You most definitely have not have not been on his site because in your post #66 you wrote, “I don’t read things written by traitors who criticize their county in the Islamonazi state controlled media.”

Well, theoretically you could go on his site and just look at the pictures. So, I stand corrected. I should have wrote, “You most likely have not been on his site”.

BTW, how did you gain such vast “knowledge” about Ron Paul if you never read anything written by him? Do you do have mental telepathy, or seance powers, or something?

Neoconservatives were leftists who agreed with the New Deal & Great Society but were anti-Communist.

But Neocons were also internationalists (as opposed to American nationalists) and they ran headlong into the arms of the already established Rockefeller (fiscally & socially Liberal, East Coast Oil & Banking Money) Republicans who were also internationalists for business reasons. For many years, the Rockefeller Republicans & Neocons worked together, ostensibly to fight communism overseas, but this also gave the Rockefeller Republicans an excuse to form global bipartisan networks and to involve the US in protecting their business interests outside the country.

The Rockefeller Republicans and the Goldwater Conservatives were bitter enemies from post-WWII until the 1980's. Part of the deal made at the Repub Convention in 1979 was that Conservative Ronald Reagan accept Rockefeller Republican George H Bush as a running mate. (Bush had actually been the first to call Reagan's economic plan, "voodoo economics" when he was running in the primary.) Barry Goldwater didn't like the deal at all but he sucked it up. Old Barry couldn't keep his mouth shut however when Reagan started mixing religion and politics with Jerry Falwell and the Moral Majority. Barry Goldwater said, "Every good Christian should line up and kick Jerry Falwell's ass"

It's pretty interesting that today what passes for "a Conservative" is some combination of things that Barry Goldwater himself would kick to the curb -- whether the mix of politics and religion of Bachmann/Palin/Perry/Santorum or the NAFTA loving internationalism of Bush/Perry/Romney/Cain. We embrace Rockefeller Republicanism and mistakenly call it "Conservatism".

So if anyone wonders how we got here -- with bank bailouts, so many wars overseas, and the wealth getting drained from the country, don't just look at the neocons who've been blamed extensively. Track the trail back to the Rockefeller Republicans and their heirs: both Bushes and Mitt Romney.

David Rockefeller's Wiki bio is even one hell of a read: "Founder, Council on Foreign Relations, Founder, Trilateral Commission, Founder, Bilderberg Group, Class A Director Federal Reserve of NY, Chairman Chase Bank, World Bank, IMF, and it goes on and on on.

Here's a direct quote from David Rockefeller:

"For more than a century ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents such as my encounter with Castro to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure — one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."

>>>1. Ron Paul tried to remove all military aid from Israel. That would be a great start. <<<

Yes it would.

>>>He has never come out and rejected his support from groups like Stormfront.<<<

I don’t believe he has rejected support from anyone. Talk about fair-minded...

>>>2. If you’re going to support a US Congressman who goes on an Islamonazi propaganda TV station, I can’t help you.<<<

Considering that stupid article you wrote on your blog, you are the one who needs help. Does Townhall know you are using their logo? If they do, they really went downhill.

>>>I don’t play identity politics-—that’s the game RuPaul and his cyberstormtroopers play, along with the hated Left.<<<

Prove that Ron Paul pays identity politics.

>>>One can ertainly crticize individual Jews. I do it all the time. I’ve taken on the ADL (the All Democrat League) and the $oros funded Jewish Funds For Justice. I’ve blasted Barney Fwank, Schmuckie Schumer, and the rest many, many times.<<<

There you go, you flaming anti-semite

Your blog argument that Ron Paul is a socialist is about as weak as a 100 year-old woman with crippling arthritis.

Milton Friedman also said that he was philosophically libertarian. Commenting on his book Capitalism and Freedom, Friedman said that it presented ideas that were “very radical” and “not conservative at all”.

Of Friedrich Hayek, Friedman declare himself “an enormous admirer of Hayek ... The Road to Serfdom is one of the great books of our time.” Hayek had famously written an essay titled, “Why I Am Not a Conservative”

When the Policy Review characterized the late Hayek as a “conservative”, Milton Friedman protested as follows:

“Hayek, to the best of my belief, like myself, always considered himself a “whig”—a 19th century liberal, never a conservative. ... You do him no service by regarding him as so.”

Conservatives might like much of what Friedman wrote and did, but it would seem that Friedman did not appreciate being called a conservative, and preferred to be called a liberal, albeit of the 19th century type. Obviously, there should be no place in Mr. Nobama’s Republican Party for the likes of Hayek and Friedman.

Certainly. But there’s no room for someone like Ron Paul who attacks his country on Islamonazi TV.

The problem is most people like the original poster learn political history from people like Sean Hannity or Mark Levin.

That is why you see so many "Conservatives" supporting Obama's war to support Al Queda in Libya... because Mark Levin told them it was OK.

Prove yourself correct. You certainly did not prove Ron Paul to be a socialist in your blog post. You have proved nothing, so far.

FTR, in the future would you please refrain from referring to Ron Paul (or anyone else) as RuPaul, or S/he’s. It makes you appear to be a teenager posting from Mom’s basement. Maybe you are.

Ron Paul calls America “imperialist” and goes on Islamonazi state TV and I’m in the wrong ?

I’ll give Ron Paul respect when he earns it.

So using federal funds for garbage like “drop out reduction” and a rehab center is free market economics ?

Calling public spending a “tax rebate” is right out of the Ayn Rand playbook, eh ?

*AHEM*

No Conservative in his right mind supports Chairman Obama’s Libyan Adventure.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2767107/posts

Hannity is a shill at times, but what’s wrong with Mark Levin, precisely ? He worked in the Reagan administration, which at last check, was the most successful Presidency of the 20th century.

“That is why you see so many ‘Conservatives’ supporting Obama’s war to support Al Queda in Libya... because Mark Levin told them it was OK.”

But calling America “imperialist” is Conservative, huh ? Acting like SDS members on LSD at CPAC—That’s Conservative ?

Chanting “war criminal” at Dick Cheney is a mark of true patriotism. Hanging out with Code Pinko is certainly something Barry Goldwater would have done.

You’re joking, right ?
