The world will recognize the Depression we have tried to cover up. This is not a US-centric story. The Eurozone will get the unemployment and tax consequences too. Germany will be forced to choose between propping up the entire rest of the Euro (which it can't) and detonating it and going back to the Deutsche Mark (which it will be forced to.) There is a very high probability of war that comes out of this, although the exact trigger is not something I can forecast. War is the classical solution to these problems, and it is unlikely to be different this time.

I doubt two or more Eurpopean states will go to war with each other a’ la 1939. What is likely to happen is the conjunction of the two primary political forces-(socialism and Third World invaders)-leading to internal chaos. It will be like the recent events in London only the action will not stop for several years running. The revolutionaries will be supplied by weapons provided by Islamic States, the fervor will come from race and socialism.

I’m guessing China’s going to be the trigger when we tell them their US securities are worthless.

I think all I really need is extra toilet paper at the moment. You can never have enough of that when the SHTF. I’ll remind my wife to get an extra supply next time she is out.
Oh, and dog food. My wife let that one go lax lately.

Things are bubbling up and will burst at any time. How and what that brings is still up in the wind... This time, the US is not immune to the consequences. Things are looking very bleak... Too bad we have no leadership.

Spot on. Nightly chaos in a bunch of cities that will lead eventually to martial law.
Then the fun begins.

Funny, we haven’t heard from those guys ridiculing the “gold bubble” and talking about Dutch tulips lately.

Germany will be forced to choose between propping up the entire rest of the Euro (which it can't)[don't do it Germany] and detonating it and going back to the Deutsche Mark. This is rather poetic justice....Germany is leveled in WWII...even the leveling...didn't stop Germans from being who Germans are...highly successful people...now Europe is looking to Germany, of all places, to pull their sorry A$$'s out of the financial hole they've made for themselves.
