In grading the 2012 GOP field, none but her and Cain even manage a passing grade... it's sad
This from an organization that promotes common-sense immigration policy:
"Rep. Bachmann earns an Excellent rating because her actions and statements have clearly opposed mass legalizations and have been recent."
Herman Cain: C-
Mitt Romney: D
Sarah Palin: D
Rick Perry: D-
Jon Huntsman: D-
Newt Gingrich: D-
Ron Paul: F
Gary Johnson: F
Rick Santorum: F
Of course we all know were the other side stands: can't get any lower from the viewpoint of those patriots who demand our borders and laws be respected...
Barack Obama F-
More/links/references/pics at Reaganite Republican, inc. a useful scorecard that spells it out with links to each candidates positions, statements, proposals, and platforms re. legal and illegal immigration.
Chalk up yet another issue Michele Bachmann owns... just sayin.

What makes me laugh are these path to citizenship people that say if the illegals dont follow certain steps they will be deported. LOL Really? If, as they claim, that we cant possibly round up illegals for deportation, how is it that they think they will miraculously locate them for deportation if they dont follow those steps???That's just their attempt to appease those of us who want illegals deported. They think we're too stupid to notice what you pointed out. The fact is, whether illegals follow certain steps or not, they have broken the law and should be deported. It's like saying, "You can break the law as long as you say 'pretty please' and 'Mother, may I.'"

Go back and actually research those items. Most of it was taken out of context or are simply half-truths.

Have you actually researched the charges against Perry or are you just listening to the Liberal talking points, rumors and innuendos (yep, the same ones they'll use) printed here?
Perry just signed a Voter ID and a proof of citizenship to get a TX DL bill into law. He's gotten NO credit for that in this *over zealous* organization's report.

I remember there was a SCC that ruled against the State of Minnesota involving the NG.

I just meant for the average person to try and perform essentially a ‘citizen’s arrest’, might be dangerous.
Its too bad that the feds refuse to do their jobs. The law has been broken. It seems to me that SCOTUS needs to address this. Is it a fed or state thing, because with each telling the other to do it, nothing is getting done. If its a fed thing then perhaps the state needs to sue the feds.

Actually, I feel the silence has been deafening surrounding this issue and latest “decree” from King Obama.
Shows how in bed perhaps ALL of them are with illegals and their enablers in this country.
Follow the money.

Great post! Michelle Bachmann stands out alone in the current field of GOP presidential wannabes as a voice for a lawful, orderly, and sensible immigration and naturalization process!
Because of this, she should make the issue more of a focus in her campaign.
To: justiceseeker93
She’s certainly been consistent on it.
And for those who yammer about her lack of success, take a look at success in DC over the last 5 years and tell me that “success” is a good thing.

Voting for anything less is a vote for a permanent democrat majority.
30 million illegals in America is equal to the population of more than 50 congressional districts. Their numbers alone change our political landscape and if they vote, its even worse. If those 30 million were gone, we would eliminate an unknown number of democrat house seats.
