I’m sure the Japanese tsunami had economic effects, but I can’t say I ever hear it mentioned as a big factor by economic commentators.
Obama has the tsunami in there front and center, you’d think it had hit the USA.

This is the first Blame President I think we have ever had. This grasping to foreign disasters and Euro troubles for excuses on personal failings is not going to wear well with the voting public. I hope our GOP candidates start calling this Weak Sally out on these lies.
On the bright side, at least he is finally admitting that the economy is in a shambles and not on some sort of boom.
