Here is the email from Air Force Staff Sergeant Moran,

My name is Daryn J. Moran. I am a SSgt in the USAF stationed in Germany.

I called Pastor Manning of the Manning Report just recently (Youtube video posted below) to share my concern for our country. Boils down that I have not gone in to work last Thurs. and Fri. First time I was AWOL in nearly 13 years. Until B. Obama provides a birth certificate which stands up to professional examination, not even mentioning the seriousness of the fact that his father was never an American, I no longer serve the Armed Forces or take orders.

Basically, I'd rather follow Mr. Lakin, the ex-Army officer who went to Ft. Leavenworth, into war against our real enemies.

My family is in turmoil because I cannot change my heart to support Obama, or protect his criminality. I love America and the Constitution and stand against B. Obama. He should be arrested.

Orders to disarm citizens may or may not be depending upon the circumstances and the citizens in question.

When he took the oath to obey orders from his commanding officer it did not say to obey only orders from commanders that he liked.

My son took the oath as an officer, and I was there when he took it, so it is forever in my heart.

That said, I assume the enlisted must wonder about the orders issued by officers who do not question their own oaths.

How to keep order in the ranks, right? What is an enlisted man to do when the officers pay little or no attention to their obligations.

I say again, what about the oaths taken by congress/administration/judicial?

I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt.

If it is true that he is being discharged for other reasons, he may have figured he didn't have anything to lose and thought he should at least try to bring attention to the eligibility issue.

Or maybe he is using the eligibility issue to try and draw attention to the circumstances of his discharge. If what he said is correct, I’d find the matter of his discharge rather alarming.

I suppose we'll just have to see how this plays out.

Would all who are cheering on the Staff Sgt for his “Brave Stance”, would they be so supportive of, say Palin is elected and some other staff NCO says that he can not serve under her for what ever the reason may be. Would they also support him? I doubt they would.

I just checked out his uniform and if he has been in 13 years he hasn't done squat. He is in a medical career field.

What I am thinking he is just fishing for a cause to make himself a hero for getting kicked out. I am willing to bet he'll join IVAW or Code Pink when he gets out if they give him the attention he craves. What he is getting booted for? no one here knows for sure.

AWOL and Desertion is serious business in the Military, especially in critical career fields. If this joker really took time off someone else in the hospital has to extra work to compensate his selfish act. In worst case scenario, someone may get killed.

Now he's bragging about it. Not cool or Patriotic. Deserting your fellow Airman isn't cool. its criminal. AWOL or desertion is not Patriotic, nor to be celebrated.

Those of us who are vets are not looking at this as a birther issue but a selfish act. I don't believe the good Reverend Mannnig would of told him to go AWOL. You never abandon your post or your buddies...it isn't kosher.

1. That's how this is different from LTC Lakin's case! We have had an absence of delusional Birther posts to the predicting that either the Court Martial will -- somehow -- remove BO from office, or that the military will be so terrified of letting the case go to trial, that they will let the guy go.

2. This clown didn't just refuse to get on an airplane, he called for the Commander in Chief to be hunted down and arrested. LTC Lakin was very careful to act respectfully. He had been deluded by Birthers into thinking his action might advance a cause he believed in, but he did the least he could do to get himself court martialed.

3. Discharge dates may be extended while the service member is under arrest for a military crime. Ssgt Moran will be lucky to do 150% of the time that LTC Lakin is doing.

Did you see/ hear barrack obama take an oath? Was it Constitutional? Isn't the protocol it must be Administered before a Certain time? It has always bothered me also that Justice of The United States Supreme Court could not get the oath out properly?
