I think that we are in for something like the collapse of Argentina’s ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yerKMQc7-w&feature=grec_index), but a much more violent version. We have a larger entitlement minded population and a much more violent and armed population than Argentina and I see many many small business wiped out by flash mob looting, and see rape, robbery and murder for murder sake. Many of these ‘yutes’ will think no more about killing you than most people think about stepping on a roach. That will be the test of many. Most preppers I know are Christian people and they will hesitate to do what they might have to do to stop the ‘yutes’. On the other hand the ‘yutes’ won’t think twice nor lose a minute of sleep, in fact they will smile and laugh about it.

For those of you who haven’t started already it’s time to prepare almost past time maybe. You needed to be stocking up on food guns, ammo, basic household supplies like soap, papergoods, cleaning supplies, good sturdy clothes including extra socks, underwear and extra shoes and boots, a extra couple changes of oil and filters for your car, tools, things you buy everyday start buying two and put one up.
As the LDS say “When the emergency is upon us the time for preparedness has past.”

I know...that sounds petty...but my husband just split almost 9 cords, and he cut it all himself,, loaded it all himself, unloaded it all himself....
I can imagine some deadbeat just taking whatever he wanted..."just because" or "he doesn't need that much"...etc...
we've got some things going right as far as preps, but not all....I also worry very much about my adult children who live in Portland, I mean right in Portland, and north of Seattle...
of course they're bama voters and just rolled their eyes when I mentioned if they had too,when TSHTF they could all come live here...we've got the room....

No truer words! Better to plan and pray that it doesn’t hit the fan than to assume unrest would never happen. I feel not only by physically keeping water/food/ammo etc... in your home but to mentally prepare as well. IMHO
It will concentrate in the liberal cities.

Isolated pockets...the “urban-ville” amusement park. For the punks in England...it was simply some excitement and belief that the cops would never get them or come to their front door. In Philadelphia, Milwaukee, or DC....same deal. Fear of the cops or prosecution or jail isn’t exactly on the minds of these kids.
You will notice that there just aren’t that many civil unrest players over the age of thirty (at any of the locations). Simply punks in the middle of the summer....looking for “fun”, and most of us all shake our heads over the decline of civilization.

at a distance no problem any one of a dozen long range rifles, mid range FNFAL 308 with a 20 shot mag, up close it is 12 gage time with a full charge of buckshot. extended tubular mag and all.

I don’t like the thought of hurting anyone either but after 23 years as a US ARMY Ranger I have lines they better not cross. If I ever honestly believe that they are a threat to my family or myslef I will drop a hammer in a heartbeat.

The area where I live has a long, strong pro-military tradition, believe it or not, even here in Washington state. I mean Ft. Lewis and McChord are both a stones throw away.
Quite a few - actually ALOT - of ex military around, Rangers and Special Forces guys.
Like I said, we can hope cooler heads prevail. If not, then hotheads can lose their heads purty quick, eh?

This isn’t “Civil” nor is it “unrest” which are liberal code words for racial gang riots.
Have a loaded firearm secure, but within a few seconds reach as these hoodlums will start invading homes, looting, beating and raping the law-abiding, hard-working members of society.

When Joe the Plumber asked Obama and Obama answered about “redistributing the wealth” did the MSM ask Obama what he meant by that?
No - they dug up as much dirt on JtP, mocked him for not being a “real” Plumber and basically Borked/Palinzed him.
Yet as mentioned, no one asked about Obama’s answer.
Well, you’re seeing it and reading about it.
Be prepared, because “Obama’s redistribution of wealth” by force is coming to a neighborhood near you.
Maybe even your own.
Personally, I would have no problem blasting a hole in one or more of these arrogant punks that posses a sense of self-entitlement, as if they are “owed” something for doing nothing.
And if you think it’s bad now, wait until the empty suit loses in November of 2012 - there will be rioting, claims of a stolen election, racism, etc... which the media will be happy to parrot so they have riots to cover, all in the name of ratings.
