It would not be a stretch to say that our Dear Leader's chances for reelection are slim.

No offense, but anyone who thinks that must have been born yesterday.

The simple fact is that because the indisputable Republican opponent is not yet in place, the mainstream media doesn't have a target to fix on.

Okay, it's not actually racist, but since the author criticizes the far left fringe policies that form the foundation of the Obama Regime's philosophy, they are certain to play the race card. It never wears out, or so they hope.

Sadly, I believe you are wrong here. We have a fair chance of defeating the inept communist in our White House, but our odds are around 50-50. For example, Intrade puts the community organizer's chances at just over 50% and Gallup has a similar number. This is not insurmountable, but neither is it slim. We need to work, and it'll take blood, sweat, and tears, not to mention careful oversight of polling stations to catch enough of the massive fraud that the Dems are counting on.

Walker and the republicans should institute a tax increase and take every single dime of every business in the state. Every business would shut down. Unemployment would be 100%. In a very short time government would shut down.

46% approval is a national catastrophe, any way you slice it.

This 46% do not and will not accept the legitimacy of an election, if they lose. This 46% (that is a HUGE number) are committed to our destruction.

Besides the fact that Obama could ABSOLUTELY be reelected at 46% fifteen months before the election (Reagan was 44% in August of 1983) the fact that we have such a large anti-American, anti-Constitution, anti-liberty group presages war - whoever is elected on November 6, 2012.

The difficulty is that "generic Conservative" isn't a human being with a face that can be smeared. That's the reason that the partisan media were so quick to attack Palin and now Bachmann, not to mention Bush, Gingrich, etc, etc ad nauseum. Make the other candidate ugly enough and your own own troll looks like a fashion model.

This is going to get strident and fantastically unpleasant, because they have a very long way to go to reform public opinion of 0bama now that he's been in office long enough for people to see what he really is. Far easier to tar the other fellow. The ludicrous attempts to associate Palin with the Giffords shooting and the Tea Party with the downgrade they were doing their best to prevent are only two minor examples. Any attempt on the part of opposing partisans to do the same to 0bama is met with shrieks of "racism!" that appear, at last, to be losing their potency.

2012 looks to be the most polarizing election in years, and the ironic part is that the ones calling for civility tend to be the worst offenders. Useless anyway. Civility in American politics is as rare as civility in war, and for the same reason.

I worry less about the left’s opposition to the ‘Generic Conservative’, than the resistance from the Washington DC army of bureaucrats (Democrats AND Republicans) with the large State supporting media.
She or he or she will be facing a wall of opposition at every attempt to reign in the size of the Government. This obese monstrosity has gotten so large that it can't go on a diet. Its reached the super-critical mass stage of a nuclear reaction — and it isn't pulling back on its own.
I hope for the best - but the best Generic Conservative President (Mrs. Palin) is going to have an incredible challenge.

The Left is going to orchestrate violence. They have said it. They have planned it. They worked it in the middle east. They are hoping to launch it here. I think the black mobs are warm ups or rehersals.

They have tipped their hand of how they will do it this time. They will not riot and burn down their own neighborhoods as in the past. Tea Party Movement as Large as Nation’s Entire Liberal Population, Say Gallup Polls

CNSNews.com) - The percentage of Americans who expressly state that they are supporters of the Tea Party movement is currently about as large at 22 percent of the population as the 21 percent who say they are liberals, according to recent but separate Gallup polls.

Meanwhile, at 41 percent of the population, according to Gallup, self-described conservatives outnumber both Tea Party movement supporters and liberals by nearly 2-to-1.
