Barack Obama never put forth a debt reduction plan. Ever.
All Obama did was talk in generalities about what he might be willing to consider as part of a “grand bargain,” but it always was vague, the equivalent of voting present. But when Republicans put forth actual plans to deal with entitlements (the Ryan plan) and to take dramatic action as to spending (Cut, Cap and Balance) the White House went along with Democratic demagoguing of the issue.
The beauty of voting present is that it allows one to sit back and watch, and then say “I told you so” no matter what the outcome. If things turn out badly, you can say you didn’t vote for it; if things turn out well, you can say you didn’t vote against it.

Exactly. But he's gotten a pass on this time and again, going all the way back to before the 2008 elections, when he had a nearly blank voting record.
I have this automatic gut wrenching traumatic desire to barf if I watch him, so I don't. A braver woman does not inhabit the postings of FR....

The idiot is still blaming Bush and claiming he inherited the latest $6 TRILLION dollar debt. When he was in the congress in 2007 when the leftests ran up first $2 trillion and in the White House when HE and THEY ran up more than $4+ TRILLION MORE!
All the government lies for the last 50 years combined aren’t even a pixel on the mass of lies he has accumulated since 2007.
He stood flat footed during this whole debate with only an eyeball on it trying to find somebody else to blame.

The dirt-baggery revealed by this episode showed both sides on a different course from The People again. “Terrorist” and “Hobbit” were all the damning evidence one needed.
The Senate has not had a budget for more than 800+ days. Obama, after being warned by the rating agencies proposed such an irresponsible budget that it was voted down by the Reid Senate by 97-0.
Obama’s best buddies, Pelosie and Reid have had control of the House and Senate from January 1 2007. He and his fellow Democrats have been in control of the purse for 4+ years now.
The Repubs have had the House for just 7 months now. They have passed the Ryan bill which Obama attacked ferociously. The House passed the CC&B bill that was tabled by the Senate and was declared DOA by Obama. How is this fiscal mess the Republicans’ fault?

I think you're right, only a miracle (like maybe the GOP nominating Romney) will save his sorry rear end. We need to get rid of every last vestige of him and his sorry crew. His stench will be with us for years.

Raising the debt ceiling during "crisis mode" was his plan. He simply avoided presenting a budget until the cash flow dried up.
Clinton was a much better liar, was a much better politician, but Clinton was also pragmatic - looking for any way out to save his own hide (welfare reform being one example). Barry's ideological nature and nurture puts him in a permanent pivot to the left.
It’s that dang weather (Arab spring) and that earthquake (Japan). And the media does not question his majesty, Pres. Trainwreck!
