Governor Palin Retweets Article from Whitney Pitcher and PA4Palin That Notes How Rick Perry Almost Tripled Texas Total Debt
This re-tweet from Governor Palin should pretty much put an end to the outrageous rumors that shell endorse Rick Perry. The great article from Whitney and PA4Palin re-tweeted by the Governor directly contrasts Governor Palins stellar record on debt and liabilities with the futile records of Mitt peacetime Romney and Rick Perry. If Palin is endorsing Perry, why is she re-tweeting an article that slams his inability to control what Governor Palin has described as the foundation of destruction?
Its also noteworthy that the article that Palin re-tweeted pretty much calls for her to run for the presidency.
>>> Clearly you missed Palin going after Romney- by name- last week. <<<
I actually did catch that, and she should go after him, while she has platform on FOX to do so. However, you must agree surely that Romney had to be all grins today, with her tweet conditioning the chatter against Perry while Romney doesn’t have to say or do a thing, but enjoy the talking point she raised. Just kind of odd. (Since she isn’t getting in.) Maybe later she will support Bachman? Perry can’t use her on the ticket because nationally he has different needs in the north. (BTW, Palin had she run would need someone else also.) The pal thing for a ticket never has flown.
What has Rick Perry done about the illegal anchor babies? Gave them in state tuition. Took tax money from tax paying Texans citizens and gave it to the illegals?
Perry is just the other side of the Mitt coin. But still the same coin.
Not any more grins than when conservatives and the media go after Palin,, or Bachmann, or Cain, etc...
You come prepared. I’m impressed.
Ha ha ha! I'm LOVIN' It!!! Run Sarah Run.
Rick Perry Flip Flops!
I had my doubts about Perry, the lifetime politician.
Go Herman
Go Michele
>>> Is Perry in yet, or is he just sniping from the same table?<<<
What Republican sniping has Perry engaged? He’s a pro, and won’t be seen or heard starting a circular firing squad among the conservatives. Heck, he may not get in but the polls and energy out there are sure begging him to.
Only those who can't decode the message contained in Sarah's 'telegraphed' signals are in the dark about her intentions.
As frustrating as it might be to sit there wondering whether she's in or not, you've got to try and see things from the perspective of major campaign strategy. It would have done her no good to have jumped in during the middle of summer.
What have the other candidates gained in that time? Mostly, they've just beaten each other up in preparation for the Main Event. It makes better sense to stay out of that melee, and to wait for a number of the lesser lights to blink out - utilizing your energies more wisely by attacking the Main Opponent from the sidelines, while your primary foes are battling each other, and wearing themselves (and their supporters) out.
One thing to remember is that presidential campaigns have traditionally begun around late summer. It's only recently, that they've begun in early summer (or even late spring). 14 months is an awful long time to sustain the enthusiasm of a presidential campaign. Those who jumped in early, are already witnessing fatigue on the part of their supporters, and we've barely begun the real race.
Sarah knows what she's doing. If there's one thing she's shown in her twenty year career in politics, it's that she has uncanny political instincts, and that her unconventional approach is usually devastating and unexpected for her rivals.
(cough) Texas DREAM Act (/cough)
Obama could win too. Does that mean you'll be voting for him?
“Tammy Bruce hammered Perry this week. It was brutal.”
Oh, wow. Is there an archived recording or transcript of the shows?
Tammy is a staunch supporter of Gov. Palin. I heard her say once that after Christie said he wasn’t getting in the race, that perhaps Rick Perry would be the one the establishment GOP would put in to try to neutralize Gov. Palin should she get in the race.
If she really is going to run she could have done a whole lot better job of reassuring her early supporters of it instead of watching us uneasily coalesce around Perry, who CAN beat zero, and IS seriously telegraphing his intention of running.
It is way too late in the game to give the left any inkling of an inter-party split that they will plaster everywhere to their gain. And again, she did it at the WORST possible time for Perry, unless she doesn't want him POTUS, in which case we deserve a large volume from her as to why, and not six months from now.
How do you know she’s not running? I used to be a journalist and before we published something as a fact we had to confirm it. Can you 100% confirm this? Are you in Palin’s inner circle? Do you know what she’s thinking? Please if you know for certain that she isn’t going to run tell all of us how you came to that conclusion and why it’s 100% accurate. We could say the same thing about Perry that he isn’t going to run because he has certainly given no indication as to what his plans are. But I wouldn’t want to be going on FR claiming to know what he’s thinking for his future plans and claiming that my emotions on his presidential aspirations are fact. As for the Bachmann endorsement, that isn’t going to happen, first there was the Ed Rollins fiasco, and then there was Palin saying that the next POTUS should have Executive experience, last I checked MB has zero qualifications in that area.
Palin can’t win and Perry could? Pfft!
Have you looked at how the two of them are polling in swing states? Have you taken a look and listen at Perry and thought about how he’d play nationally? (Once polling reflects more than the basic outlines of his resume?)
So she shouldn’t give a hat tip to an article that points out the exceptional nature of her stellar record?
I see no reason why she shouldn’t do that.
>>> She has always provided the reasons for why she has gone after some one. “ <<<
Maybe Rick asked her to deliver some boot tar on him, in order to get the negatives out early because of the pals thing. That is the only “plus” I can scrounge up for any kind of reasoning behind this tweet heat. Lousy reason, huh? I figure Rick will address this in his campaign and never mention her name. He is just cool that way.
The comparisos in the article are annualized, not cumulative.
Your post is reasonable and logical. I suppose this is the crux of it. I'm frustrated. It would be wonderful if Sarah is channeling Sun Tzu. It's how I would run a campaign. That said, my list that records the number of times candidates have done things I would have is tragically short.
GOP incompetence is normally just aggravating. Facing economic collapse and the idea that the country could wind up looking like Baghdad in 2007 is just getting to be a lot to bear. I'd prefer we could stay more or less united, but I guess human nature is what it is.
Anyway, thank you for your rational and well written post.
Maybe Palin needs to be reminded that Texas is a US Border state and is saddled with the expenses of illegals.

My.... what a (GW) Bush-like excuse.
