Well isn't this something...you think Fox News hacked into someone's computer to get these transcripts? Oh, I forgot, it's a Conservative so getting some transcripts isn't really that big a deal:
The Huffington Post was passed Perry's transcripts from his years at Texas A&M University by a source in Texas. The future politician did not distinguish himself so much in the classroom. While he later became a student leader, he had to get out of academic probation to do so. He rarely earned anything above a C in his courses -- earning a C in U.S. History, a D in Shakespeare, and a D in the principles of economics. Perry got a C in gym.Perry scored poorly on the basics within his animal science major. In fall semester 1970, he received a D in veterinary anatomy, a F in a second course on organic chemistry and a C in animal breeding. He did get an A in world military systems and Improv. of Learning -- his only two As while at A&M.
"A&M wasn't exactly Harvard on the Brazos River," recalled a Perry classmate in an interview with The Huffington Post. "This was not the brightest guy around. We always kind of laughed. He was always kind of a joke."
Dave Weigel asks:
Cool. Where're Obama's?
It's quite interesting that the MSM only finds it worthy to investigate a candidate's background and education when it involves a conservative.

Yea, I know, we’ve already established that facts/the truth aren’t real important to Perry’s loudest supporters on FreeRepublic, just rhetoric and perception. “ <<<<
Throw in TEXAS as a perception and it works for me.
“alleged harder drugs” ... didn’t obama himself say that he did cocaine? what alleged?
I still say use the audio from his book about doing cocaine in a 2012 campaign ad
As you sit out there in commieland where you can’t scare up a republican vote among your vallley girls and boys...I can certainly understand your angst and jealousy of our having Rick Perry stealing the majority of your jobs.

Well now, that explains a lot. You got that right.
lol. :)
At A&M he was Call Leader and part of the student body, so even then his calling was in that vein. His obvious skill is politics and he has put it to good use by filling 100% of all appointed positions in Texas, pushing it right and creating a job friendly environment. His skill has not gone unnoticed.
Since it’s possible to seal one’s records, as Obama has proven, it seems that Perry must not have wanted them sealed.
Why in the world would he want to appear to be an average, Christian guy from Texas?
Excellent idea. Using his own words against him has been effective in terms of his economic pronouncements, why not the drug thing too?
"What b*tch does Wayne Brady have to choke around here to get a copy of Barack's trancripts??"
Yell leader!
Puhleeze!!!! LOL!
I think you’ve got it right. He’s from a humble background. I’m glad he’s not some bookish snob, the left can have all those empty suits they want.
Give me a man who doesn’t mind busting his knuckles and breaking a sweat. A common sense kind of guy who gets the job done.
That’s the way I see Perry. Is he perfect? Heck No! Thank God. The last thing we need is another phony messiah.
I doubt he was politically active. More that likely, he majored in suds.
Passing INorganic chem is a prerequisite, so he's no dummy..I well remember those lab practicals..when you're given a sample, and you have to identify it..
Also note the liberal arts core curriculum...he was majoring in veterinary science, but he still took history, English ( Shakespeare)....compare it with what college is today...
I graduated from college in 1976 so am familiar with what it was like “back then”.
I took 21 credit hours per semester and worked 30 hours a week; Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday, and Monday night. I had a GPA above 3.2. My folks expected me to excel, and sure as Hell tried to do so.
“Perry had a heavy course load...” Please, I’ve lived in Texas and those good old country boys drank lots of beer, even while driving their trucks!
A C+ average isn’t great, but he probably didn’t have that ‘fire in the belly’ for academics, I would guess. Funny how that works, because it isn’t until later that it becomes important in some ways.
I was at NYU mid 60s..When I took inorganic, and then organic chem the following year, I had a lab every Saturday from 8-11am..my fraternity brothers wouldn't awaken until noon on Saturday..
No...it's YELL LEADER...
