If he wasn’t an open borders globalist type he’d be a great candidate. The fact that the Bush’s don’t like him makes me like him more though.

The result of a Rick Perry presidency is more of this.

Most of us will hold our noses and vote for the eventual Republican nominee...the primaries are where our battle is fought.

It’s a little known fact that in his spare time Rick Perry got an engineering degree, founded a high-tech startup company, and personally employed all those thousands of new hires. /s

Perry likes to put on a good show; but he doesn’t have the power and he never gets it done. All he does is talk about it.

We need someone that not only knows and understands the damage ozero has done, but has the constitutional knowledge, assurance, and balls to stop and negate all the havoc created.

People need to be fired, committees and beaurocracies eliminated .. yes .. un-employ them.

A REAL Attorney General needs to bring charges against the enemies of the state.

Wall street will boom, employers will employ, and America will right herself knowing she is in the hands of adults again.

I’m an avowed Palinista. If Palin (finally) anounces, she gets my support. Period.

If she doesn’t, Perry does. He’s the only other one who is likely to primary Romney. He’s not great, but he gets most of my core issues: State’s rights, 2nd Amendment, fiscal restraint, and pro-life (although his record here is shakey).

Kinda sucks on illegal immigration and has bad NWO tendencies, but he’s infinitely better than Romney.

What about Bachmann? Maybe. Cain? Ditto. They’d have to show some real strength against MittCare Romney before I bought in, though. West if he ran? I’d toss everyone else over for West, but he won’t run this time.

Perry is the least acceptable conservative candidate, but acceptable. Infinitely better than McCain for example. I won’t be holding my nose.

And his jobs record is a winner with the middle. A BIG one.

/a non-native but fully invested Texan

PS Please announce, Palin or West. PLEASE!

Rick Perry is a lying, full of feces, Ken Doll want to be.
I know I grew up 20 miles from the border. Live 90 miles from the border. He ain’t done didly squat to protect us from illegal’s. You should know there buku of them all over Jackson Tn. Home of Old Hickory. The reason Texas gets so many jobs is because the the people with money have been fleeing California and Perry really has no power other than taking credit for being a “ZOOLANDER”
Same old hash different pan.
If you lived in Texas you would know.

Texas is doing well IN SPITE OF Rick Perry ... not BECAUSE OF Rick Perry.

Texas has one of the weakest governorships in the country. Fortunately, the state legislature has a conservative majority. That is why Texas is doing well.

Sorry Perry feels like Bush’s third term to me, in other words I think he comes off like a compassionate conservative, no more pale pastels, I’m supporting Palin. Perry will get my vote if he’s the nominee, but I just expect him to play the Bush Blue blood role do a couple of good things and compromise in other areas such as immigration.

Palin is my first choice, but if she doesn’t get in, she’ll most likely end up endorsing Rick Perry.

Here’s a link to a good story about the two of them...

Also, here’s a link to a very fair assessment of Perry, warts and all....
