This is exactly what we did not want to see him do. This should have been treated by Boehner as an unfortunate but necessary compromise to avoid major issues, but he should have immediately hung it around Obama and Reid’s neck, proclaiming continued danger of debt rating change and massive debt...and singled out the Democrats as THE obstacle in the way of responsible spending. I am now fully convince Boehner has to go as Speaker...and I have supported him tepidly up to now.

Boehner is the problem. He should have led the way, instead he chose to behave like Nancy Pelosi.

Imagine that...

1. Create a crisis
2. Wait to the last second
3. Pass a bill that your not sure what is in it

Rest assured that the government will spend a lot more money next year than this year.

Boehner has to go.

It’s Washington against us.

Good job, grey whiskers:

The following is the wording of the statement that Neville Chamberlain waved when he stepped off the plane after the conference in Berlin had ended on 30 September, 1938.

“We, the German Führer and Chancellor, and the British Prime Minister, have had a further meeting today and are agreed in recognizing that the question of Anglo-German relations is of the first importance for two countries and for Europe.

“We regard the agreement signed last night and the Anglo-German Naval Agreement as symbolic of the desire of our two peoples never to go to war with one another again.

“We are resolved that the method of consultation shall be the method adopted to deal with any other questions that may concern our two countries, and we are determined to continue our efforts to remove possible sources of difference, and thus to contribute to assure the peace of Europe.”

Chamberlain read this statement to a cheering crowd in front of 10 Downing St. and said;

“My good friends this is the second time in our history that there has come back from Germany to Downing Street peace with honor. I believe it is peace in our time.”

Thanks for the ping. I’ll tell you what this is like. It’s like a bunch of teens whittling away for years at the foundation of a house. When the house is finally teetering on the verge of collapse, the teens finagle a crippling loan from the owners to ‘fix’ the foundation—and call themselves heroes for doing it.

Then they whittle away some more at the foundation, all the while planning to extort more $ in the future.

These people ***caused*** the problem. They should be locked up, and a whole new bunch tasked with solving it. If that doesn’t work, lock the second bunch up and try a third crew, etc.

A failure as Speaker, he has failed the vast majority of Americans who do not live off the govt largesse.

None except the welfare state applauds the exceptional continued rise in spending of the bill being passed.

Game over for America, as interest rates rises will consume the spending to levels we cannot even begin to imagine. Remember the 15% interest rates Carter gave us?

Interet will make everything else in the budget fade away as we pay our creditors our GDP.

The Dems won big time. In addition they were able to alienate the conservative core base from the Republican Party. The leaders in RP are such idiots or truly RINOs.

(That’s conservative, not Republican. I am no longer a Republican.)

Piss off, Boehner. Stop with the posturing; you, Reid and 0bama all got what you want.

You could`ve stood pat on CCB, yet you folded like a cheap suit. You`re all talk and no results. So enjoy your “victory” and do your victory dances.

But reality is you surrendered.
