For whatever problems this country has, a collapse and a revolution of some kind would not result in any improvement.

It’s frightening to think of Bill Ayers and his boys in charge of re-building things after a collapse. Whatever would replace what we have now would not be an improvement.

The folly of their idealism was that if there ever was a complete collapse, a powerful force would emerge that might well consist of former military commanders and international business conglomerates who would wipe the upstart anarchists out in short order.

This is also the failing of the world socialist dream held by Obama. If somehow it became possible to confiscate all wealth and distribute it evenly, the same people who are rich and creative now would have it all back in a few short years. It's because they have the ambition and intelligence that the others do not.
